  We are just back from 9 days in Iceland. We stayed at a different place each night and although all were wonderful, this was a step beyond. The cabin was adorable, the views spectacular, the hot tub soothing, and our hostess a real gem. Definitely the nicest stay we had on our trip.

  This is simply a little gem off the 1 road. Nestled in by trees, these cabins are perfect. We were greeted by Asdis, who showed us to our cosy cabin.
  
  On the porch, there is a grill, a table and chairs, and lovely candles. Inside - a spotless cabin heaven! Quirky decorations (goose lamp and more) make this living space very fun and comfy. There is a sofa with cosy covers, kitchenette (with everything one might need), breakfast table and chairs. The bathroom and bedroom were also immaculate, with Aveda shampoo and beautiful embroidered bedlinen. Asdis had already prepared everything for us for breakfast in the fridge and on the counter - porridge, apples, chocolate, crackers, meats, cheeses, grapes, yoghurt, pancakes, a lovingly made fruit pot and homemade jam!
  
  There is a sauna and hot tub on the property, which Asdis encouraged to book a time for, so that we could have a quiet and private time. We went in the late evening, which was incredible. After 20 minutes in the sauna, we enjoyed watching the stars from the hot tub, surrounded by trees and little electric tea lights. Magical!
  
  Once filled with delicious breakfast, we went for a walk down to the little waterfall on the property, where you can sit and enjoy the view.
  
  We would strongly recommend coming here - and not just for one night. Asdis is lovely, and the location, cabins and amenities are wonderful.

  Excellent owner. Thoughtful design. Feels just like home. Remember to book the sauna and open air jacuzzi and catch the nothern light in open!

  Great place, Àsdis the host is very kind, the cottage is well furnished, the jaccuzi and sauna are as hot as you can expect We should have spent more days here.

  Our best stay in iceland. Definitely stay here. So cozy and friendly. Has everything you need and more. Even little welcoming gift.
