  This place is brilliant. A very good campsite. Located in a very serene place. Well maintained Toilets and shower. Overall a great campsite for Camper vans and RVs

  One of the best places we stayed at so far. Very friendly staff, very delicous homemade food. Also special requests, like milk free or vegetarian food, are possible and beeing fullfilled with extra care.

  Great place to stay. Rooms are new (as of July 2017), very clean, small kitchen in each room - superb. The place is a bit remote from any town or attraction.

  Sehr nettes Gästehaus in abgelegener Umgebung. Bis zum nächsten Supermarkt sind es etwa 40 km. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, der Aufenthaltsbereich mit Couch und Kamin sehr gemütlich. Wir hatten zwar ein Problem mit dem Warmwasser aber die vorgeschlagene Lösung - Nutzen der Dusche in einem leeren Zimmer wäre ok gewesen. Das Frühstück war gut, besonders der selbstgemachte Kuchen.

  Freundliche Gastgeber, eine sensationelle Aussicht auf die Berge und gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist eher übersichtlich, aber schön angerichtet und sobald etwas zur Neige geht, wird nachgelegt.

  Hotel ist zwar im Container-Style aber trotzdem sehr angenehme Wohnatmosphäre. Das Familienzimmer hat eine Küchenzeile, ist etwas eng zu viert, aber brauchbar. Nettes Personal. Am hinteren Ende des Sees, daher etwas abgelegen. Günstig zum Besuch des Hengifoss und des Wasserkraftwerks.

  That was one of the nicest places we stayed in on our tour of Iceland. The rooms were great, the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was absolutely delicious, and the location was ruggedly beautiful and off the beaten path (if there is such a thing as a beaten path in Iceland.)
