Clean modern accommodation s. Hot tub. Traditional Icelandic cooking. Great soup and thick sliced lamb. Reindeer theme replete with taxidermed reindeer and Arctic fox.

A cozy camping with swimming pool, jacuzzi and lots of showers - all very tidy and clean. The communal kitchen is a bit small but the jacuzzi makes up for it. There were virtually no other campers when we visited so no waiting at the toilets. And the price is 1500 isk which is really nice. One of the quietest campings we visited.

This is an accidental finding, arrived at night, passed by and needed a place to sleep. I stayed only one night, didn't use their shower as I went to a thermal pool earlier in the day.

I was greeted by the fire in the wood house, it was lovely in the cold!

The bathroom is super clean, the owner doesn't speak much English but she's very friendly. It's a lovely accidental finding.

Camping : ( Iceland) 5 star
Free use of hotel facilities including swimming pool and hotub, while
They look a like run down the worked perfectly. Hot showers ! Use of small indoor kitchen (seats about 4 comfortably) which include a washing machine. Use of Tipi tent ask owner for
wood. Campsite beside road but didn't bother us.

Lovely classic Iceland road stop with pool
They did everything possible to give us a nice stay. Small clean well kept room with shared facilities. Rooms with bathroom also possible. Pool is great, take good care of it!

Super nice camping there!!
A lot of showers and toilets, so you won't have to wait. A small treehouse available where you could do fire in and sit together in there.
The best was the really warm jacuzzi that everyone is allowed to use as long as you want and the pool - really luxurious!

Nice staff and really good price for what you get : 1500 ISK per person.

Although we did not stay the night here, we just stopped by while on our way to Akureyri as we were craving some coffee and had to use the restrooms. The owner brewed us a fresh pot of coffee, and wow was it the best coffee we had in Iceland! Thank you!

Reindeer Guesthouse Skjöldólfsstaðir - Really nice Guesthouse, one of the best I have stayed at in the country side. There is no other place that will give you better information about the Reindeers 😊 And if you are camping, the mountains here provide a really nice shelter from the winds.

And the rooms are VERY clean and cosy. The bathroom and showers are VERY clean 😊

And there is free access to a very nice hot tub 😎

The place is very nice. They have free termal pool and jakuzzi 24 hours. When we were there,, there was a local party, which was very interesting. Locals played guitars and sang icelandic songs while we ate hamburgers with reindeer meet.

We camped at the yard. The prices were good, they had hut in which we could light a campfire, the showers were free and they have a hotpot which we were allowed to use.
