  This agency is a scam they offer nice hotels in their itinerary and proposals then dump you in the back of nowhere in corrugated iron huts

  De retour de notre roadtrip de 7 jours et 6 nuits en Islande, réservé entièrement par l'intermédiaire de Hrefna de Iceland Travel. Tout s'est passé comme prévu, depuis la location de la voiture réceptionnée à l'aéroport aux réservations des nuits dans chaque hôtel. Très disponibles par email pour toute demande, conseil ou modification afin de personnaliser votre itinéraire (nous avions rajouté une nuit à Vik par rapport à l'itinéraire de base). Nous avons bien reçu un GPS lors de la réception de la voiture, et avons aussi bien reçu lors de notre arrivée dans le 1er hôtel notre carnet de route, la carte routière et la carte sim islandaise pour téléphoner. La seule petite remarque que nous avons à faire est d'avoir eu pour une nuit une chambre double avec 2 lits simples séparés et impossible à rapprocher pour en faire un double ; rien de bien grave donc! Bref, nous conseillerions à nos amis de passer par cette agence locale sans crainte!!

  I've had such a great experience with Iceland Travel during each of my three trips to Iceland. The people who work there are so knowledgeable about Iceland's history and culture and excited to teach you all about their fascinating and beautiful country. I couldn't recommend them more! What other tour company offers you the opportunity to plant a tree with your family and adopt an Icelandic goat?! You really get an authentic experience when you book with Iceland Travel. Also highly recommend the trip to Siglufjordur. It's an adorable little town. We saw amazing Northern Lights there.

  I had a completely pleasant experience. I am planning my second trip to Iceland in part to book a few more of their tours that I didnt have time for. Cant wait!

  My experience has been bad.
  I first emailed iceland travel on a saturday and got a reply from Nadia on the same day, which is good. However nadia did not reply to my second email. I had to call on monday evening asking Nadia to answer my email, which she did on the same day. But the booking wasn't made because I still needed to receive a link so I could pay and confirm the booking. Nothing was returned to me and so I flew to Iceland on Wednesday morning with no camper van booking starting on Thursday until Monday. Already in Reykjavik, I rang the office again and said: "hey, my booking for tomorrow has not been booked yet! I'm in town, can I pop over your office and booking there with you?" Turned out they don't have an office, "just a bunch of computers and people making bookings". So alright, I told Daan, the phone operator, if he could sort me out, which he did a few hours later. In sum, lots of stress, money spent on phone calls, van not being available until 12:00 on Thursday (ended up at 12:30), etc. I was really glad that Daan had the nerve to help me, but I wouldn't use Iceland travel's services again
