We went to the Myrin restaurant and got some local Icelandic meal. Lamb head and land soup was delicious but the steak that came with the steak and fries was very tough.

Planið báðum megin við húsið er ekki mönnum bjóðandi á veturna, ekkert nema hálka, slabb og drullupollar. Það er vægast sagt leiðinlegt að koma heim eftir langt ferðalag og þurfa að draga ferðatöskurnar í gegnum þetta og verða rennblautur í fæturna.

Went through it pretty quickly to go on a tour. Think they need to find a better way to deal with the snow on the way in, quite a mess.

I've been there several times and I've now noticed it's not just one person behind the bus ticket counter being rude. It seems to be many of them. I've experienced that they often don't smile, don't say hello when you get to the counter (some times they even walk away after you get there, and a simple "sorry I'm just busy" would do. No one is a mind reader), and one even had an attitude, when they had sold us the wrong ticket and asked for a refund. It's a pity.. I hope they give a course in service or at least hire people who know how important a simple smile and "hello" or "please wait, I'll be there with you in a second" is.
