Guide Torfi was wonderful. I learned so much and experienced so much more because of him. I don’t do tours much as I normally prefer to travel on my own. But this tour totally worth it.

Save your money, rent a car and do the drive yourself. The tour was a bait and switch. The tour we did was not the tour we signed up for but the driver did not tell us until an hour into the trip. The bus (really a large van) was cramped and very uncomfortable for the 12+ hour excursion with 18 people. While the sites were nice, it was completely overpriced and the “tour” portion was almost non existent. I feel like we lost an entire vacation day by booking with this company. Buy a tour book, rent a car for a day and do the drive yourself at your own pace in a much more comfortable environment. The drive is very easy and beautiful but there is no need to book with this company to see the sites.

Last week, I went on the premium Golden Circle Tour with my wife. The small group and extra sights that we saw beyond the normal tour we some of the best memories of our time in Iceland. Not if, but when we visit Iceland again we will be booking with BusTravel Iceland for the quality service, competitively priced, and very informative and friendly tour guide (Snorri). Sorry for spelling your name wrong. Our guide also gave us some good hints for seeing sights in Reykjavik.

We went on a Northern Lights tour with Bustravel Iceland. I was impressed with the way they communicated with me before we left for the tour and the confidence of our tour guide Matt throughout. He was very outgoing and told us lots of facts about Iceland and made us laugh throughout. The fact that we got to see the Northern Lights was an absolute bonus too. This was down to his persistence that it would happen, even though it was cloudy and we were a bit pessimistic. The addition of hot chocolate and snacks was welcome as it was freezing cold waiting out in a field.
Thanks for a great tour. I will be recommending them to family and friends.

Excellent. Done the golden circle tour & secret lagoon. The guide ( who calls himself iceman) was fantastic. Told us loads of interesting facts about iceland. Would definitely recommend this tour to everyone coming to iceland. The scenery is breathtaking. Thank you for a truly amazing day 😀😀

Great company, booked the Northern Lights tour, they managed to show us the lights even though the scale was 0 probability. They also had a professional photographer who took photos which showed off the lights far better than we could have done and provided them at no extra cost which really made the trip! Thanks

The mark of a good company is how it deals with challenges. We ended up traveling with Bustravel Iceland for 3 tours (Northern Lights, Golden Circle and Southern Coast), and they handled a few hiccups flawlessly and with an amazing service. All the guides and drivers were professional, safety conscious, super friendly and above all -- incredibly proud to share their country with us. Special thanks to the multi-talented "Frosty" who sung us a beautiful Icelandic lullaby and Danny Boy. I'm not a big fan of bus tours, but this one I highly recommend.

We were late for our tour this morning, and our bus had already left the bus station, but they totally stepped up and sent another minibus to pick us up and we reconnected with our bus after a few minutes.

The rest of the day was great. Our guide was very nice and welcoming, knew what he was talking about, and even told sillyb jokes I really enjoyed :) we took the tour to the secret lagoon and the Golden circle.

    I'd recommend them to a friend :)

We took the Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon tour. The tour was very well organised. Everything was perfectly timed so that we could enjoy to the maximum all of the attractions. The guide named Eagle was full of energy and very well informed about the history of iceland. He shared nice stories with humour and in the end he sang few Christmas songs (good voice!)to end the tour beautifully. Definitely recommend it!

The tour guide, Roc, is very caring and attention to details. He is always on the look out for things to see and worth letting us know, instead of just go by the script. No only he spotted seals, northern lights, and some interesting rock formations along the way, he shared a lot about local trivia things and history of Iceland.

Bus ride was smooth and very punctual for a 14hr long trip. The guide and driver were on time/schedule, and made sure everyone knows how to get home from their drop off points. Thanks guys!

Interesting one week winter ice cave tour! Is this not expensive? Yes, it is but worth every penny spent. You get to see some interesting sights away from the tourist masses. Highlights from the tour were visiting the Ice Cave, doing a glacier hike, and seeing the iceberg Lagoons. With BusTravel Iceland- You will love to visit Iceland

I had an amazing two day tour with these guys at BusTravel Iceland. They were very kind and professional. We were able to do many things on the Itinerary and even stopped at several places not on the trip including the great waterfall and secret glaciers. Indeed, it was an amazing experience and one you shouldn't miss. I will always recommend this company

We loved the two tours we had with Bustravel Iceland! The tour guide was very informative and we learned a lot. He shared stories, facts and Icelandic culture. The tours were extremely enriching.
The bus was way more comfortable and new than the other tours we took with other companies.

We booked our South of Iceland tour through BusTravel Iceland. It was one of the two excursion companies that we used and it was by far the best. The pick up at the start of the day was on time. The minibus was also in very good condition and comfortable. They were also determined to find everyone who had booked and called one person several times, who eventually turned up. We were then taken to the bus terminal where we got on a larger coach which was also comfortable. There was also free wifi! The tour guide clearly knew what he was talking about and made the journey enjoyable. If I come back to Iceland in the future, I will be booking through BusTravel.

I did a tour that was very enjoyable and it ended with an announcement that the northern lights should be good tonight and we could sign up for the next tour. I asked the guide to sign me up. She told me the pick up would be 8:30.

The pickup driver arrived and my name was not on the list. He refused to check and gave me a number to call that didn't work. When I said it didn't work, could I just join and thenpay he shook his head and walked away. Very unhelpful and rude, adding "he didn't have time for this."

Very lovely and accommodating company! We missed our early morning pick up due to some miscommunication however they swapped our tours so that we could still do all of them. The guide on the golden circle tour was also friendly, knowledgeable and very out going making the tour very fun especially with all the long driving time. Thank you

Most remarkable tour ever! This was the second tour I took with this company. The guide knew his stuff - while being upbeat and absolutely hilarious. He actually broke into song while we were in one of the caves. The acoustics were amazing and his ancient Icelandic folk songs really helped set the ton for seeing the rare natural beauty of the land. Unlike many other tours in Iceland, we weren't bumping into fellow tourists left and right. We were very much off the beaten path, which helped make it such a unique experience. I'll remember it for as long as I live. What an adventure!

Highly recommend the tour of Southern Iceland! Our friendly guide was born in the region and incredibly knowledge. She even adjusted our itinerary slightly to avoid crowds so we arrived at the lunch stop and black sand beach before other tour buses. Hotel pick-up and drop-off are included, which made taking the tour especially convenient. There is no power or Wi-Fi on the bus, but you'll be too busy taking in the beautiful scenery to care.

The tour guides we had were really nice and very entertaining and knowledgeable. One of them even said he was an elf? Who whole thing was amazing.
