Very nice equipped cottages. But beware of huge wind that can occur!

Very nice campsite with a common heated room where you can have tables to prepare your food/chat/ play etc. Well maintained.

Nice campsite. Was quite crowded during late September which was surprising, luckily the grounds are pretty spacious.

There's lots of toilets, outdoor sinks and a warm indoors area with some basic kitchen appliances and power points. Also free WiFi available. No showers.

Only downside was that during our stay someone managed to overflow water in the bathrooms, making it terribly wet and not fun :(

Never saw anyone to make payment, but there is also a lock box where you can leave cash.

    Superb view and great sunsets.
Just park up and either find someone in dining area or reception to pay, else someone will come around later.
Free WiFi, clean toilets but no showers, and hot water in the outside toilets!
Warm dining room with power points.
Washing machine and electric hookup at additional cost.

Hard to find a flat place to pinch a tent. And NO shower which is a big lack. The best part of that camping is a nice and hot common room with tables and electric heaters (no kitchen tools). Clean toilets.

They have a very uncomplicated way of dealing with things witch makes this place very friendly. It's close to the village, has a small guest kitchen, 5GHz Wifi and a BBQ spot.
    Very nice! :-)

Of the dozen or so campsites I've been to around Iceland this was the most chill and cleanest. It's on the very edge of town by a church so it's very quiet. The bathrooms are 4 unisex +1 handicap accessible and very spacious. The dining area offers fast Wi-Fi and is very comfortable. There are no showers here but if you're just looking for a quiet place to camp and chill then this is it.

Warm, comfy cabins to stay in away from too much light pollution. Though the weather seems to prevent the opportunity to view the Northern Lights more often than not.

A nice campground above the town with plenty of green space to roam around in and nice views of the fjord. This campground had free Wifi which was the only one that I came across in Iceland. However it slowed right down at night when everyone streamed their movies. The common area was crowded, kitchen small but adequate. The washrooms and showers were co-ed which completely turned my wife off especially after a tourist stank up the bathroom. Not many stalls so everyone was affected. Damn you poopy man.

Perfect spot. Great facilities and WiFi aplenty (running an outdoor antenna - 1st campsite I've seen do this). Great location and hikes nearby. Also cheaper then most sites.
