  Absolutely impertinent! 100 Euro for a room just big enough to turn around on the same spot, Do not try to open your suitcase though. Dirty, and bad smell, no shower, no Toilet in the room. Shower and Toilet are to be shared with other 50 guests, the shower and Toilets are very dirty too. You better avoid this place! Very sympathetic night guard - its not his fault12 Euro/ night for this room would be just ok.

  The room was clean but very small (even though it was as advertised) and you could hear the people walking in the hallway. The bed and pillows are very soft and not comfortable at all. You are not allowed to eat in the common areas, if you brought your own food. Breakfast was ok and the staff was helpful. Good location, only 1h away from Landmannalaugar.

  We had a nice stay at the Highland Center, in a nice new room.
  
  Unfortunately, they only had a small menu card with sandwitches and burgers as we were there before June 15, when they starting offering a bigger menu. However, the prices are fair.
  
  A plus was the sauna, the only one we could enjoy on the trip.

  Mitten in der Natur gelegende Herberge, die Zimmer sind praktisch und modern eingerichtet leider etwas eng. Es wurden nachträglich noch Dusche und WC eingebaut. Das Essen im Restaurant ist schmackhaft.

  Für eine Nacht ok, kleine eher abgewohnte Zimmer, zu geringe Anzahl Toiletten/Duschen, Frühstück ok, Abendessen überraschend gut und preislich im Rahmen. Zimmer zu teuer für das gebotene, aber durch die Lage können sie es sich erlauben,

  Clean, comfortable, modern rooms. Staff very willing to help (especially given our very late check-in). Otherwise unremarkable, hence the lack of a fifth star.

  Just a lunch stop. Excellent meat soup and soup of the day which today is cauliflower. A little oasis in the landscape.
