Good for a very short stay.
Avoid the room 101, on the ground floor face to the street.
Parking is free, in front of the hotel, and about 25 min to walk to the city centre.
Staff is nice and helpful.

Good for a very short stay but was not very comfortable for us. The room on the ground floor faced the street and was just too small. With 2 pieces of hand luggage open it got very tight to walk around the bed. Found garbage on the top shelf, the towels have also seen better times. Parking is free in front of the hotel - and about 25 min to walk to the city centre.

Small room but clean and warm. Nice welcome with coffee and cakes. The bathroom need some improvements.no radiator, no toilet brush and when you make shower the water goes everywhere even if it is a curtain.

Nice hotel, looks unimpressive on the outside but rooms are a decent size. Bathroom was a bit chilly as no heater in there. Bed was comfy and had a good sleep.

Friendly staff and quiet.

Breakfast buffet was continental, which was nice. Free coffee and tea 24 hours a day (self service). About 5 parking spaces but they always seemed free.

About 20 mins walk to Reykjavik centre.

Excellent value choice in Reykjavik! The breakfast is a great value, the rooms are clean and very serviceable and the location is right next to a bus stop.

Hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean and decent sized. There is lots to choose from at breakfast. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from downtown Reykjavík and is near to local shops and cafes.

This hotel was very nice, modern. It had a good breakfast included and the staff was nice. In the standard double room there was plenty of space, and everything was nice. The bathroom was a bit small with a cramped shower. There is a balcony overlooking part of the city. The location is outside of what we considered walking distance of the bar and restaurant districts.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff is very attentive and the rooms were quiet and clean. Not overcrowded with tourists and you can easily travel to any destination from the hotel.

My wife Irina and I stayed at the Hotel Lotus this past week on our honeymoon and it was a wonderful experience. Maria the owner in particular was absolutely phenomenal to deal with. She was very accommodating and always helpful with the rooms or information and advice on excursions or local sites to see. The rest of the staff was great as well and always friendly. The rooms were European sized but very tasteful, clean well decorated and furnished nicely as well as the rest of the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was also great. This was one of the few hotels we could find that even had breakfast provided so the fact that the food was great quality was a huge plus. I'd greatly recommend the Hotel Lotus to anyone staying in Reykjavik. Thanks Maria!

Friendly staff. The hotel rooms are good and the breakfast is greate. The location is better if you want to stay near the road. Long walk downtown.

I really enjoyed staying here. I missed my flight and emailed and received a response right away. When I arrived the next morning Maria greeted me and showed me to the dining area and even took the time to describe the wonderful breakfast options. My stay was fantastic. Maria was so helpful in every way possible. The room was adequate and cozy. I highly recommend.
