Really friendly host. The communal area and kitchen was really nice and homey, with good cooking utensils and appliances. It cost 1350 isk to stay and usually includes a shower, though it wasn't working when we stayed in winter because of frost - which also meant that there was only one toilet available (which wasn't really an issue when we stayed, even though there were 2 other campers that night).
Excellent. Our favorite place we stayed in Iceland. Fantastic food. Great breakfast. Awesome views of the volcano. Sheep and horses and a pretty river. Friendly staff. Rooms are a bit outdated but that didn't bother us a bit.
We are currently in the guesthouse enjoying the kitchen, the view, and the warm dining room, eating some warm toasted white bread. Then we will enjoy the nice shower (not charged for it!) before going to sleep in our tents.
We've been camping for the whole week, and this is the best camping we did by far. And cheapest than the others!
Basis hotel, food is just ok. Personnel not professional.
100 times better then any other campsite we visited. Cheaper than most also. Beautiful farm and cool old school hotel.
Excellent campground with hot tub, showers, lots of space, and even a pool table.
This place is incredible. Weve camped here and there was a lot of space to choose from. There is a hot tub and the facilities are simply good. Big kitchen and dining tables. Also a sweet cat walks around here. There is also great birdlife around here. Only little thing is there were a lot of little flies around our campsite but hey thats nature right 😅 friendly hostess and she showed us around and explained everything. It was nice weather and the pay was only 1350 pr night. (!) also there is a possibility to ride quads here and they have horses. Our best camping in 4 weeks around Iceland!

Very large portions of food and great tasty iclandic lamb.
Highly recommend. Food was excellent.
Clean hotel. Nice and helpful people.
