Expensive compared to other places we stayed in Iceland of similar/better standard. Receptionist didn't actually acknowledge us initially when waiting at reception, so this didn't create a great first impression. It was also not made clear during the booking process that we would need a credit card to check in. Coffee tray wasn't stocked up for our arrival and the tv signal was very poor. However, but it was clean and served it's purpose, and the shower was very nice. A bit disappointed by the evening meal, very expensive so we were expecting a very high standard. Our waiter was very accommodating though, and we really enjoyed the wide selection and food quality at breakfast.

Very friendly staff, very good breakfast buffet, expensive dinner at built in restaurant but the Char entree was spectacular! Cozy but simple rooms. Cleaning of our room during the day was very well done, made the room seem brand new during the second night.

Great choice for the area. Many of the hotels in Vik are quite expensive, but this one was very well priced and still up to standard. Comfortable and quiet room with a great view.

Very basic room (for an economical taste) attached to the nicer Icelandair hotel. They are attached by a walkway so facilities are shared. Don't expect luxury from Hotel Edda, but it's a decent place to sleep.
