  Like everywhere else in Iceland, Hostel Úlfljótsvatn is pricey when it comes to meal options and lodging. However, the dinner options are delicious, and the hotel is within a short drive (or a very nice bike ride) of the lake and state park. The hotel was originally built as housing, so all of the rooms are split throughout several 'residential' buildings. Each room has a private balcony, and there are private hot tubs in between the buildings that fill at 5 o clock automatically.
  
  Side note: the free WiFi is powered by a 4G hotspot-type connection. So they don't want you to stream Netflix or upload photos.
  
  Tl;dr: Cool place with fun stuff close by. 10/10 would stay

  Great place for groups to camp, in tents or houses. Lots of activities and super helpfull staff!
