Second best ‘hot pot’ in Iceland. Great red and pink sunset over the mountains 5 pools that are toasty hot. Very clean.

We went after dark and had a wonderful time starring at the stars (no Aurora this time). The tubs were of varying temperatures, but they seemed to vary from too hot to just right. Tubs were clean as were the changing facilities. Shower was cold but maybe I just didn't wait long enough?

We visited this place earlier today. It's well marked along route 1 with a big sign near the one lane bridge. There are 5 hot tubs and changing rooms. For 1000 isk a person this is cheap. There was a bit of mess lying around the hot tubs. Empty beer cans and such. Bit of a pity. The water wasn't super warm. Some tubs were a bit dirty too. We didn't plunge into the water as we had little kids with us. There were only 10 people present at 10 am this morning. The surroundings aren't really spectacular and even a bit messy. Price/quality is in balance though.

Although this hot springs are open only till 10pm that's the best place out of 3 others I had a chance to visit in Iceland. The water is pleasantly warm, tubs are clean and the biggest advantage of this place is definitely cloakroom especially useful in winter what's not common everywhere.

Just to let you know: there is no lights (despite changing rooms) so it may be a little creepy to be there in dark winter evenings otherwise nice and hot water!

There are five or six round tubs of varying degrees of hot water, views of nearby glaciers depending on which you choose. We went midday and it was almost empty, so quiet and beautiful! Separate changing rooms for men and women, clean and close by. Was 1000 per person, and worth every penny!

Small but great hot pots to enjoy with friends, beer on hand in the evening. Changing room was clean and warm. It has bench and hangers to leave you clothing and towel. Separate clean toilet building was available. Outdoor shower was cold although, hot tap did not work for me.

There are 5 hot tubs and the entrance fee is 1000isk per person. There are changing rooms, a bathroom and an outdoor shower. We came there shortly after 5pm and there were only 6 of us there, we had a tub for ourselves. The water was great, relaxing in hot water with a pretty view after a hike is just perfect. There is a big parking lot and the road to get there is very good.

Nice looking place, hot tubs for 1.000 kr. They accept euro and dollar but no card.
Scenery is pretty nice all around but it's a bit crowded. Still a nice place to go

Pretty cool out of the way hot tubs with a great view. Need to keep some cash handy to pay the 'on trust' usage fee.

Not too shabby. Kinda of small for my taste though.

For 500 kr you get to soak in one of 5 hot tubs. From scalding to merely warm there's one for any weather. Changing room and outdoor shower available. Even though all tubs will accommodate 4 to 6 people it gets pleasantly crowded and conversational. Definitely a recommendation!

Aloha! For only 5 dollars you can have a relaxing hot tub and stunning view of the snowy mountains of iceland. Plus view of a huge ice glacier. You can also stay for as long as you want. WoW what a bargain.

What an unreal experience. exactly what we needed after a long drive. 3 out of the 5 tubs were working FYI! We got there around 7:30pm and had it all to ourselves. A few minutes later, a few more cars pulled up and filled the other pools. Can't say enough nice things.

They're beautiful but so unbelievably hot I couldn't put my foot in. My friend got in but only for a photo then hoped out. Please be careful.

Awesome place to go! Rain, Snow or Darkness. Please make sure you clean up after yourselves and respect the natural beauty that is IcelandI found a pair of Grey underwear and a bottle cap close to one of the tubs.

Other than that the water is hot! If visiting at night bring glowsticks!
