Really unique falls & impressive rock formations. Access roads are pretty good too.
Stunning waterfall not too far off a self drive golden circle worth a visit a gravel short road to get to it . Great pics not too many people.
Worth a visit to this hidden gem. Mind the wind if you go during winter though, I barely could make it out of the car but still could enjoy the views of the frozen waterfall and take some nice shots!
So peaceful, hidden, it gives you the feeling that only you know the place. So quiet. Seems like a great spot that some locals use to catch fish.
The views are absolutely amazing and what makes this place particularly worth seeing is the fact that relatively less crowded than the other waterfalls. It is located less than 1km from the main road but the conditions could require a 4x4. This depends on the amount of snow and the driver's skills.
Went during December, the drive back to the parking lot was a but rough, however once arriving, it was well worth it. Recommend walking down around the corner to see where the river goes after the waterfall.
Beautiful sights, close to a game of thrones filming location.
Amazing! A must see destination for your family and friends on your journey.
nice place to take photos.and just admire the landscape
Fantastic view. What's best is that you can actually drive to it and park up close.
Yet another beautiful Icelandic waterfall. They are all so worth it to visit. This one's particularly nice because it's not overly crowded.
Simple but great waterfall.picnic tables available but I did not see a WC. May need the bushes. No crowds like the southern waterfalls.
This one was a nice surprise on our road tip. I had missed it on the maps, but we saw the sign from the road and went there. The falls are visible from the parking, but you can carefully walk down to the water and enjoy the nice sight.
Special charm, beautiful place without any tourists. Easy access, picnic place, not much more you can ask for.
Hjálparfoss, the waterfall of help, is a small but exceptionally beautiful waterfall in the valley Þjórsárdalur. Surrounded by basalt column small cliffs in a beautiful spring fed river it is a clear and clean waterfall that you enjoy watching and photographing. If you are traveling in the southern part of Iceland you should stop by this waterfall only a few meters from the main road.
Simple, quiet, and gorgeous. There's some great picnic table spots. Be sure to catch the plaque nearby commemorating a wonderful couple.
Nice little waterfall. Very interesting lava formations
Nice waterfalls but not spectacular. If travelling to Haifoss I would recommend to pay it a visit, but I would not drive only for this waterfall, there are much more beautiful waterfalls in Iceland. The waterfall is easy to reach for each car. Only a small gravel road.
A good, remote waterfall. Don't expect any other services, including outhouses.
A bit out of the way and maybe hard to find but one of my favorite waterfalls in Iceland.
There are a few tables out so you can set up and have a great lunch here.
I found that it was really peaceful here as there was not many tourists.
Spectacular views, great drive to get there if coming up from the south avoiding the bonded roads and 1 of Iceland's many amazing waterfalls.
Awesome place, very few people. Black gravel road to get to it. You can also go to the top of it as well.
This is a nice Place with a twin waterfall and a small lake. It is located next to the high way, so you easily reach it without 4x4 car.
In addition to dead nature, you can find wild animals here: a family of otters leave nearby!
