Great little find for a discount traveler. The food was good, the price was reasonable, and the place had character. And it had a good view of the ocean to boot!

Excellent breakfast menu. Reasonably priced especially for the price size. Great feel and endless espresso. Definitely worth a stop!

The fish and chips were fresh and so delicious. The lobster sandwich was AMAZING! And I don’t generally eat a lot of fish, but still - We loved it! Great service.

Great place to get lobster for a decent price compared to nicer restaurants! Still gonna cost you $25 but that’s better than $45 elsewhere. Höfn is known for lobster! The lobster roll is great and comes with fries or sweet potato fries. Service is pretty quick. Seating is very limited as it’s a small space but you can always wait a few minutes for something to free up.

I went there in the Morning for breakfast and I loved the food so much and the free flow really good espresso that I came back in the afternoon and tried their sandwich. Lobster and fries where really good. I am just a fan of more crispier bread, but that’s just me. Go there and enjoy.

Lobster baguette was fantastic and a decent price (for Icelandic food price standards). Very tasty and nice relaxed restaurant in a small town.

This little fast food restaurant was recommended to me by a friend who had previously been to Iceland. We tried the lobster sandwich and onion rings, very tasty, different to the "usual" fast food and fresh. Prices are about 3000ISK per person.

The lobster sandwich was amazing, I was tempted to order another one immediately after my last bite! The atmosphere is fast-casual and cute. I definitely recommend for travelers looking for a quick but delectable bite to eat. My mouth is watering just thinking about this place

Stopped by after checking out another restaurant, glad we did. Simple unpretentious restaurant. Choose from the extensive menu, place your order at the bar, pay and get ready for some good food. We ordered a lobster sandwich, fish and chips and an additional small order of fries. Fish and the chips were excellent. Free coffee for those ordering food. Greatly appreciated.

Everything here just seems so low effort. The fries were cold when they delivered them. The fish burgers were so basic. The fish and chips were meh.

I have it three stars even after a poopy experience because 1: It was open, and 2: It had food. 3: for also being open. (Nothing else was open)

Also, the food was really expensive. $5,000 krona for two people. That’s like $50 in freedom units. For cheap fast food. Wowie

This is a fast casual spot with delicious food. Had the Langoustine sandwich and was quite good. Would highly recommend if looking for a fast, cheap, simple, tasty meal.

Amazing! We are so happy to find his place for breakfast. Friendly staff, quick service, good prices, wonderful food. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced - especially considering the portions. We had the American breakfast and the Local Favorite breakfast. The American was tastier than the American breakfasts I’ve had in America, and it must have been made with 6 eggs - teenage nephew could finish this dish! The Local Fav was a whipped skyr with cream, blueberries, honey, and honey roasted pistachios; toast 3 way with langoustine; and an egg and shrimp salad with baguette. Each dish for about the equivalent of $16 USD and they all come with coffee (latte+), tea, &/ or orange juice. DEFINITELY 5 STARS

We stayed at Hotel Jokull a couple minutes away. This place was reviewed as "comparatively affordable." Iceland is expensive and so this place isn't necessarily cheap but for Iceland, it kinda is! Simple foods like sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, and ice cream, everything we had was good! I had a pepperoni sandwich which I thoroughly enjoyed and it filled me up nicely! Hot tea and coffee were also complimentary which we didn't realize at first. If you're going through or staying in Hofn, this restaurant is definitely worth it! But it has a small inside! We just managed to get a table.

Very reasonable prices in this casual diner. Lobster Lagoustine roll was very good and meaty. Fried hit dog was unique and the fries was crunchy and not too oily.

    Pricy!
Service consisted of one waiter shouting at another and back to see who would serve us.
In the end, no one did.
They wouldn't serve anything of the breakfast menu because "breakfast ended 4 minutes ago".

Coffee was "self service", although every single guest could not use the machine themselves (instructions was in Icelandic).

Other than that: nice views over the harbour and a great refuge from the icy wind!

A simple place to eat, it´s very popular, getting a table might be tricky. We had fish & chips, which were amazing, and a lobster sandwich, wich was also good.

Nice stop to get a lobster sandwich. But we felt it was not very generous lobster portion for a 2000 isk sandwich Very good vanilla ice cream

Well worth the stop! I had the langoustine baguette, it was delicious. Their portion sizes are large there - so the sandwiches are very filling. It is small inside, but there are still plenty of tables to sit at, though you could also take your food to go and walk around the harbor.

Great peeve in Hofn for best value.

This is a must stop in Hofn! This was our first stop on Hofn and it was so good we came back the same day. Delicious crab sandwiches for 2000 ISK, you should get that at least once (signature dish.) Plus they have cheap hot dogs that are really good for 450 ISK. Besr of all, you can get free coffee with each purchase.

Really enjoyed our late lunch stop here. The lobster sandwich was delicious, as was the cod. The restaurant was small and cozy with only a few tables, and it was very pleasant to gaze out across Höfn habour from the warm interior.

It's my favourite fast-food place in the whole world. Probably because it is in my hometown and I no longer live there but it offers a lot of nice things and I urge you to try the langoustine sandwich. Or just anything with langoustine. It's the town speciality.
