  The sandwich melt had a ton of what is called “American sauce” in Germany — basically thousand island dressing — rather than have discernible melted cheese. The burger was edible. Everything was edible I guess, but if I visit Látrabjarg again, I’ll try a different place to eat.

  We visited here to have some lunch. Reception was empty as was the bar was empty. We met 1 person cleaning a room, but she ignored us fully. At the lunchroom a huge tv was on for some kids waching a show. Since no one welcomed us and we disliked the fact to lunch near a TV we left, unseen and with doubt in our mind

  The hotel Breiðavík is well sited for visiting the famous cliffs at Latrabjarg, where you can see Puffins, Razorbills and Guillemots close-up. The hotel has warm, clean rooms, and the friendly staff and good food only help to make the stay one of the most enjoyable we had in Iceland. We will be back next year for a longer stay, and hope to use the quadbikes to tour some of the remote and spectacular coastline.
