A very cute and quaint village with almost no touristy crowds. There is an athletic club with pool and hot tubs. Nearby is a rural village in the countryside that has great opportunity for some of the best northern lights in Iceland since it is the farthest North you can get and there is no light pollution. Njótið.

I stayed here unexpectedly because of a snowstorm but found it to be excellent accommodation. The room was very clean as were the bathrooms. The bed was comfortable and the house was quiet. There is also a great kitchen and dining area available for use. Public pool was very close and I practically had it to myself. Check out the bar and restaurant down the street called Baran bar and restaurant (around the corner from the N1).
