This place was fantastic. They have vegetarian options, which are often very difficult to find. But I was impressed that they did provide a couple of options. I got the vegetarian casserole. It was a little spicy and it was very good!

Can't really fault the food here. Very fresh and clean tasting food. Staff are excellent, and make you feel welcome. Decor is great and the place clean. Had the fish of the day which was ling, cooked to perfection and would put plenty of London restaurants to shame. Coming from the British Isles I've never understood the sad disparity of an island nation with so much bad fish. Iceland Gott fish Gott Good Gott to go again.

We ordered the Edfel burger and fish soup, as did the table near us. While we ordered first, they were served first, and while we did notice, we weren't bothered. With no complaints from us, they gave us each a complementary fish of the day. We're kiwis, we live by the sea and I dive often. We know good fish, and this was GREAT fish. Cod landed that morning and cooked perfectly.
Gott has Einstök white ale on tap, friendly welcoming staff and superb food. Worth a ferry ride just to eat there!
If you are wondering if we still enjoyed the burger and soup, very much yes, but do try the fish, it really is that amazing.

This is one of the best restaurants in Iceland, if you are looking for healthy food that makes your taste buds go crazy. It is small and therefore it might be good to book in advance. It is not expensive compared with restaurants of this quality. Highly recommend the fish of the day. Siggi the chef is one of a kind when it comes to fish.

Great place, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the location is good and easy to find.

I got the spicy spelt chicken wrap and it was fantastic. Came with a group of 16 and everyone was very happy with the food and the service.

Definitely recommend this place

Amazing food. I would recommend people to visit this fantastic island and visit the restaurant Gott.
Perfect cooked food and cozy atmosphere. Furthermore you can buy a book with recipies and beautiful pictures

Absolutely loved it. Beautiful space, delicious food and really good service. Meals are homemade and fresh, portions are generous and well priced. Came back to eat twice in the same day! Definitely eat here!
