Took the glacier cave tour. Was pretty lame. Basically a 45 minute Uber drive to and from V. glacier for $200 USD. Ask a lot of questions we were able to walk about 50 feet in and was about 50 feet wide. The rest of the cave was roped off. Imagine about 100 people stuffed into that small area. Was one of the more commercialized and least enjoyable outdoor tours i have ever booked. I wouldn’t recommend with any company.

Exzellente Tour (Glacier Walk), sehr freundliche und bestens informierte Guides aus der Region - und dort ist man nur mit der eigenen Gruppe allein auf dem Gletscher.

What a great experience! We did the 0930 Glacier walking tour with a small group. Our adventure guide "Stone" was funny, informative, and skillful on all Icelandic topics. Would definitely recommend!! Make sure to have Icelandic meat soup in the restaurant--was perfect after our rainy, cold trip.

We booked the ice climbing tour and couldn't have had a better experience. Firstly there is a max of only 4 people who can do the tour at the one time. Lucky for us, no one else booked so it was a private tour for the 2 of us. Sólveig was an amazing guide who taught us so much, not only about the glacier but Iceland itself! No other company travels to that particular part of the glacier so it's amazing to be out on the ice with no one else in sight. If you love a challenge and aren't afraid of heights, the ice climbing tour with Glacier Adventure is a must for anyone travelling to Iceland. We highly recommend!

I went on an ice caving tour and although the cave itself was beautiful, the experience was not worth half what I paid. First of all, they advertise the tour is 2.5 to 5 hours. Ours was barely 2.5, but only 30 minutes was inside the cave. Secondly, the cave had about 3 other tour groups and at least 100 people in it. They turned a natural wonder into a tourist trap! Thirdly, we weren't allowed to go past the mouth of the cave, because we didn't have headlamps despite the fact that we were explicitly told they were provided. Do yourself a favor and go to mountain excursions instead. We did a glacier walk with them where they took us into an ice cave and let us try ice climbing for almost half the price. A true adventure. Nothing like glacier adventures road side attraction.

The glacier tour was an amazing experience. This is hands down the most incredible experience we have had in Iceland, it is an absolute bucket list item and something you must do while in Iceland! Hawk and his team were very friendly and helpful, and they provided us with a lot of interesting facts about the glacier and the environment while we were doing the hike. You can really tell that they are passionate about what they do. The only requirement for the tour is the ability to walk about 1 mile, or approximately 2km each way, although we stopped a few times during the walk to hear information about the glacier. Overall, I highly recommend glacier adventure!
