Really worth visiting. We were stopping through while circumventing the Ring road and found it very beneficial. The place had a lot of brochures and the person working there made some great recommendations.

If you like to hike, there are many maps available ! Great adviser behind the desk, you can also buy postcards and souvenirs. They are exhibits on the 2nd floor. If you have any questions, they have an answer !

Extremely helpful and very friendly. We had to find a replacement rental vehicle, and the employee made phone calls for us. Also provided coffee and information about local hiking.

Manned by a single staff, not friendly or helpful. On your own to pick up some free brochures displayed on shelves. Limited parking spaces.

The exposition is nice. The guy working not at all. He didn't have as any recommendation "as he needed to stay neutral". We only got a list of restaurants and activities.

A nice tourist centre with an informative little (free) museum too. One of the few places that seemed to be open in Hofn on Easter Sunday!
Some useful maps, brochures and the staff seemed friendly.

Recently renovate info Center. Clean washrooms. Lots of great information and maps available. Maps available for 350kr for hiking around glaciers in region. Suggest nearby Hoffell glacier. No crowds and great views.

You have all type of maps and helfull staff. Inside there is a small museu which has a computer connected to 8nternet from where you can book your trips/hotels.
