A little more expensive than the other campsites but really friendly staff and clean facilities. Communal area/kitchen is really nice - includes a shelf of free things left behind from other campers that was really useful. Boiled water on tap and plenty of good stoves available. There are 3 females showers, and 2 males showers (communal). Toilets are very clean, as is the kitchen because you have to take your shoes off.

Stayed overnight in a camper van. The office was closed at 22:00 but opened again at 08:00 the next morning. Facilities were clean and there was plenty of space to park. There is a communal kitchen/lounge area and toilets with single sex showers. Price was a bit more expensive than some other campsites (3500ISK for 2 people) but choice is more limited in the winter months. Close to the town centre of Selfoss so plenty of amenities nearby including Kronan or Bonus supermarket and a swimming pool.

There are not enough great things I can say about Gesthus Selfoss! I stayed here for 3 nights with my campervan in February. Camping for myself was about $20/night. The bathrooms and showers are clean and hot and included in the price. I was also able to do my laundry in well-working machines. There is a large kitchen and common area as well that made my trip really great. The owners/staff were really friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're camping. There are also hot tubs and other amenities which I didn't use.

One of the better campsites we stayed at, in terms of having facilities open in the winter for campers. We had access to a clean kitchen, warm dining area, and a communal shower area.

Very conveniently located camping and excellent installations. Plus, it is one of the few campings that open during winter! Even during very snowy weather it was easy to find and access.

We had everything we needed for stay.. Rooms in cabin 2 were not at all that attractive as on the website.. Simple but effective.. We did not miss anything there

Spacious camp with clean facilities, indoor kitchen with dining area. Free wifi goes bad at evening with many accomodated guests.

Great little camp site. Common room is good with several cooking hobs and good seating area. Only 2 showers which get busy but worth the wait after a long day exploring.

I highly recommend this campsite. We stayed in April for a few nights. The price is fair but what makes this place stands out is the showers. So wonderful to take a hot shower after driving or sightseeing. The communal area is very nice and you can cook there as well. I highly recommend anyone looking to park their camper-van overnight to stay here.

Very comfortable, clean and spacious bungalow with bbq and private hot tub on the large patio.
Friendly owners/staff, and a book filled with useful info and instructions.
Since we had a kitchen, we didn't take the breakfast, so no comment on that.
It was just perfect, we'll be back!

A well-organized campsite. Very clean with hot showers. Stoves available indoors in the communal area which is a blessing when you meet with wet and cold weather.
