Not much to look at on the outside, but inside was nice. Good breakfast, great start to the golden circle. Don't be alarmed with the high price of food, this is where we first understood that all food in Iceland is terribly expensive, even according to European standards. During the Winter months, if you go over toward the bridge near midnight, you can get some pretty good shots of the Aurora.

The room was below average. the carpet was ripped in several spots. the bathroom was so small i could barely open the door comfortably to get into the shower. the shower had rust stains everywhere. I dont know why they don't have pictures of the actual rooms on google. Maybe they have updated rooms somewhere in the hotel? The beds were clean but the sheets smelt weird. it was a non smoking room but it smelt like smoke. the TV in the room was old and did not work. the breakfast was good and that's about it. I wouldn't stay here again.

A good 3 star. Good breakfast, reasonable price, big rooms, good wifi, good location. One thing to take note is no receptionist in the evening, need to call to open front door for check in

Basic amenities. Double room is spacious, clean and warm. In general - good for overnight stay, while exploring attractions nearby.
