This is a big place, with a lot of rooms, but they're small. A tight fit for 2 people. The breakfast was nice, in a big open buffet room. The views are probably great in the summer. There's no shoes in the hotel. You take them off at the door, which is cool with me. Horses, doggos and a cat.
We got to stay @ apartment. It had 6 beds so our group of 5 was able to relax easily after a long drive.
It has big kitchen living room with tv. Amazing place just outside of the city
We went there in februrary and we were the only guests.
The rooms were small but very nice, they have a separate living room were you can sit and drink coffee. The breakfast was the best one we got on our whole trip; we were 4 people and they prepared a buffet that would suffice for 10. Toast, bread, jams, cheese, yoghurt, muesli, porridge, sausages, coffee, tea, they prepared everything. The only downside (at least in winter) is that it's quite far to the north. There is not that much to see compared to the south coast.
A beautiful farm, friendly owners, hot showers, comfortable beds, very clean and the horses made it special for us. Rooms are small as is traditional for Iceland, but well heated and windows open easily. No food or beverages available in the evening, though has a comfortable lounge.
Nicely decorated place. Just stayed for a small meal and a cake. Both were delicious and staff was great. Will try their lunch on my next drive through.
The coziest place on Earth and the best soups in Iceland
Cozy guesthouse in a beautiful setting helped us have a good night’s sleep. We had a private bathroom, but some rooms share. Room darkening shades. Rooms aren’t soundproof and showers cause high pitched sounds. Lovely sitting area.
Very nice little B&B. My room was pretty small but everything was clean and cozy and the girl working there when I checked in was extremely nice. Good breakfast in the morning and close to lots of places to explore!
Friendly staff. Breakfast was very good and dinner was good too. Unfortunately I got one of the smaller rooms, in which there is not even enough space to open your suitcase.
The rooms are a bit small, but good. Free coffee and tea in the lobby. This is the place to stay if you like horse riding. Very good breakfast. Friendly dogs who are trying to look indifferent but are very happy to be petted.
Very nice hôtel but has no good access without a car
Came just passing by surching for coffe. Was lucky becuase they have just at the time " horseshowing" which was interesting. And the coffe and the cake was superb and very kind staff.
Great place to stay and ride horses.
Beautiful place with unique decorations in style of horse farm
Nice place. Pleased service. Kind staff. The dinner was also good.
Nice place. Didn't give out shampoo and shower gel. There are private rooms, but the "apartment" had a weird setting - several rooms connected to a shared bathroom and kitchen. Luckily we were alone, but sharing one of the rooms with a stranger could've been weird
Very nice staff, room was fine, breakfast was also quite good. Only thing lacking was WiFi signal in room and some communal areas. Value for money was okay.
Stopped here for their dinner buffet on our road trip. By Icelandic standards, it was an impressive selection, particularly for a rural area. Tasty salads and vegetables. The meats were good, including the horse.
