  This is a tremendous cafe. The coffee is fresh and delicious, the space is welcoming and super clean! A welcomed stop in the eastern Icelandic coast.

  Classic fish stew is the house special. Free refills on fish stew and bread. Classic Icelandic music playing in the background. Lots of local history posted in the walls.

  Awww sadly made the 3 hour trip to visit and it was closed at 1:30pm :-((( It looks cool inside though - and the shop looks like it would have some cool things (why I made the trip!)

  Loved the fjörd, and great food here. Must have the fish soup with an Appelsín and enjoy the view of Dyrfjöll. Salmon on bread photo attached.

  The best fish soup in Iceland. The broth tasted like chicken soup and the fish was delicious. As was the bread and butter. My husband and I split a fish soup and a fish of the day entree. We also split a yummy coconut cake. They let you have one free refill of the soup, so we each ate an entire bowl. We were craving it the rest of the week. We made a reservation to eat here at 8pm for 4ppl and walked in to find the place empty. Clearly no reservation was needed, but with only two restaurants in the town, and the nearest town an hour away, we wondered where everyone else was eating. By the time we left, however, the place was filling up.

  Remarkable homemade bread and crackers. Really cool stone tables and pieces to buy. Perfect snack before going to see Puffins.
