Wonderful place to sit down and relax. Coffee, cakes and warm Icelandic meatsoup for example. If tóu are bored you can grap a book to read or even do some knitting. Used books and new for sale and borrow. Homie and comfortable.

Cute and cozy. Washroom is available.
Delicious coffee/ latte/macchiato. We had chocolate cake with whip. Delicious!!! Full of books to buy. Mostly in Icelandic but we found some originals in fantastic condition

OMG I did not expected this, cosy coffee shop surrounded by books. When I arrived it was still quite empty, little did I know it is quite a popular lunch joint for the locals, and soon flooded with people as I sat down.

I had what everyone had: lamb chop buffet, which is simply fried lamb chop with salad, potato and coffee.

Very hearty and delicious! A road side gem!

2 flies In the coffee. I put the drowned flies I almost swallowed out of my mouth in a plate and showed it to the waitress. She looked surprised and showed it to the supervisor. She looked surprised too. But she was able to react. She took the cofee can away. That was all. No apologies, no compensation.
A shame, because it started good. Nice and confortable place with a lot of bookshelfs, soft music coming from a record player. A good lamb soup with bread and the infamous coffee for 1900 crown.
The problem of the flies can be excused but not the reaction of the personnel. They didn't try to give me me a satisfaction, they didn't mind if I was happy or not. And I am not happy.
