Great restaurant to meet Iceland food. Langoustines are delicious. And the soup, oh my God, the soup is so tasty. Loved it and want more!!! Little expensive ☹️

Frickin amazing! The food, the view and the staff! Go for the 3 course and you'll be glad you did! Scrumptious

Not only is the food delicious but the wait staff is wonderful! We had the three course meal 400g which came with the “magical” soup 400g of langoustine with “the trimmings” and dessert. Shared between two adults it was filling for us.

Prior to lunch our car slid on snow and ended up damaging the axle. We had to get our car towed. The lunch waitress helped us out, let us use the phone and let us wait in the restaurant until the tow truck came. The dinner waiters offered us water and helped us with the money exchange dispute with the tow truck company!

If not come for the food come for the hospitality. Being in a strange country can be hard but when locals fight for you, you really feel like you’re home! I can’t express how thankful I am to the staff of This establishment.

Great little place out of the way after a quick Golden circle tour. There's only a few things on the menu and it's a very specialized restaurant. A little expensive but well worth it. The 3 course looked like it couldn't fill you up, but it does.

Absolutely lovely restaurant. Best langoustines I have ever had. The soup is "magical" and they say they cannot be responsible for whatever stirring adventures you get up to after eating it. I agree it is that good. Highly recommended! Also, my wife is a vegetarian and she said the vegetarian meal was the best she had on our entire vacation.

Limited menu - basically, langoustine soup or langoustines in butter sauce, with one vegetarian dish as an alternative and some optional sides. But what they do, they do amazingly well! Really worth a visit.

Best langoustines we have ever had! Stop by for lunch and get the soup, langoustines and a craft beer. Definitely put this as part of your Iceland trip!

Great langoustines. Potatoes were amazing. You get ripped off with portions as everybody's order comes in the same bowl. Over priced. Wait staff and owner were polite but very cold.

WOW! What an amazing place! The food here is amazing and the service was great as well! I took my girlfriend for her birthday and we each got the three course meal plan. The lobster soup is to die for! I highly recommend getting it. We then had the lobster tails and dessert! All of which were fantastic! The staff overheard us celebrating her birthday and brought out her dessert with a candle on top! I was very impressed and if I visit Iceland again I will for sure come back here! I very highly recommend this restaurant!

Amazing food! They actually have kids menu. View is amazing as well. I actually thought Iceland lobsters tasted better than Maine Lobster. And they way they prepared them was so unique. Make a reservation and go off hours if you have kids.

Most Icelandic restaurants seem to have very limited menus and this is no exception. The lamb or the l'anguistinos. Food and service were good though the hostess wasn't very welcoming.

Simple menu, bit great food. To me there are really just two things on the menu. Lobster soup, and lobster Bowl.

I can not remember how to say lobster in Islandic, but these small lobsters are very tasty. I ate about 6 of them.

The place gets busy, we came without a reservation at 17:00, nobody there. By the time we left at 18:15 it was half full.

The wait staff is the best I have found in three days in Iceland, I'll put them up against anything we have in San Francisco.

Bottom line, it is worth the drive to this place. I probably won't really remember any other restaurants I have visited, but I won't forget this one.

Wow wow wow!! When you are tired of the same Iceland menu, and if you are anywhere east of Reykjavik and go here- right on the ocean; simple, east- amazing langoustine! Splurge and get the 3 course dinner: lobster soup: silky, redolent of lobster flavor with 4 plump, juicy langoustine tails as a harbinger of things to come; next a bucket of many many small lobster tails: cracked along the ventral surface but easiest as finger food- they should have the tiny forks we use- flavor? Sweet succulent and oh so tender; with small boiled new potatoes; trimmings include tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers , couscous; and dessert. - we had fairly ok chocolate cake and carrot cake. Paired with a nice New Zealand SB- heaven! But it doesn't come cheap ( nothing in Iceland does except the airfares!!): the bill for 3? $300 bucks!! But ya gotta love those langoustines!!!

Brilliant. Went on a quiet snowy day, one other table working through a mountain of food. Lobster soup. ***** at very least and the butter fried lobster (langoustines) - mouth watering. Came back and found Rick Stein had been there on his Long Weekends series on Reykjavik. Unpretentious but hits the spot before a visit to the Blue Lagoon.

This was literally the best lobster I've ever eaten in my LIFE and my wife said the same thing. We both started with the lobster bisque which was great but followed it up with the Seashore Lobster which was impeccable. Do not drive by this place without stopping. Also the view is pretty good too :)

Hands down the best lobster we ever had. My husband and I planned to stop by after reading reviews and was not disappointed. The lobster soup was better than we had in Reykjavik and was worth the trip. The main lobster dish was amazing and the butter sauce made it! The carrot cake was mediocre but we came here for the lobster so we left satisfied. Definitely recommend! We would come here again for sure.
