  Definitely one of the best 'cheap' accommodation I have stayed in whilst I was visiting Reykjavik. It's situated very close to the city center of Reykjavik, so if you stay here you can spend a day or two wondering around town just by walking around. If you are catching a bus or coach early in the morning, for a whole day trip far away, just ask the staff to make a takeaway breakfast for you. It's amazing they will pack your breakfast for you before you leave, complete with a whole bar of chocolate! So generous and thoughtful.
  The breakfast is also worth staying in to eat , for at least one time, because you get to meet other guests and you don't have to fight for the food to feel satisfied unlike some other similar home stays. Though I have been to Iceland, I wouldn't mind staying at this place again.
  The beds are clean, and they have free modern duvets which are not folded under your mattress, like the old style of making beds! Some accommodation still use to make their beds this old way in Reykjavik, really a right mess when you wake up!

  Lovely guesthouse in the centre of Reykjavik. A very warm atmosphere, created by the owners Edda and Runar and the cat Ragnar! :-) The rooms are comfortable and very clean! Wifi works fine! And every day starts with a yummy breakfast with all guests together at the big table in the dining room. Perfect to become acquainted with everybody from all over the world!

  I would come back here without hesitation. Beautiful breakfast served everyday. Edda was an amazing host, so kind and generous. Small rooms but there is plenty of space for three. We love it here.

  Very well situated guesthouse right in the heart of Reykjavik. Most of the city accessible by just walking or using public transport. Hosts were extremely helpful. Good value for money especially for Iceland.

  The hosts are so nice and helpful. The breakfast is freshly prepared and has decent selection. It's near the famous cathedral and very close to the city centre. Very affordable too.

  Very lovely host ladies! Room in good size incl bathroom. Very interesting home with lots of art around Breakfast was good.
  Bit pricey but probably ok for the city and location
