Clean and minimalistic. The bathrooms are very clean as well. The room can be a little small, but overall it's pretty comfortable. There's a small sink in the room for washing up. The kitchen is rather well stocked and the breakfast is not too shabby. Breakfast is pretty good, quite a few variety of drinks, cream cheese.

The customer service was amazing and they understand their business of a guest house so close to the airport so breakfast is available really early. The rooms are comfortable with big duvets and a sink in the room and black out curtains. I would recommend this to my friends again

Booked Kef Guesthouse after being told it was good and cheap from a friend. We booked via the phone and stunned by the low price - quoted 15,000 krona for a week stay because of some special 30% off deal happening. We were thrilled! But when we arrived we were told that this had been a mistake, and that the real price was actually 60,000 something. Gobsmacked. We had no extra money and we were basically left with the choice of staying there or finding somewhere else last minute! Luckily we scraped up enough cash to stay at another hostel, but barely. This meant we had no money left to travel to the Blue Lagoon which we had already booked. It basically ruined the stay. Nice staff, nice common area - rubbish customer service. Would not recommend.

Close to the airport. Clean rooms. Great kitchen. Includes breakfast from 3 am to 11 am. Breakfast included is hard to find in Iceland. Especially a breakfast offered for such a long period. Check in and out was easy. Showers were available. Staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent value!

Perfect place for first or last day. Has airport transfer. Easy to find. Great breakfast. Only minus - they have open shower bathrooms so water goes everywhere after you shower.. not cool if you want to use toilet after and step into puddle with socks :)

I suppose this is actually a hostel, and ended up staying here out of necessity than by choice. The accommodations really were not bad, and although I wasn't thrilled about the shared bathroom, but it turned out to be a non-issue. The breakfast was disappointing, though, so try to bring something for yourself to supplement.

Nice and modern.
Beds were comfy and minimal noise from the airport.
Big kitchen with everything you need plus a few extras like free coffee/tea/snacks.
Breakfast was excellent!
Suggestion: please put some hooks in the shared bathrooms - there is nowhere to hang towels or clothing.response / report this review -

The folks at Kef Guesthouse are wonderful. They were very accommodating with holding onto luggage, and generously gave me rides to and from downtown Keflavik. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent.

Not much from the exterior, but WONDERFUL And HELPFUL hosts. Clean. shared kitchen and washrooms are tended to regularly. Great location, close to airport, and short walk into town on well maintained footpaths. great view, bird life is incredible. only little thing is, it sits in a parking lot, where car rental is- so even with outside sitting, the view from there doesn't face overlooking the town and water (if a patio were on the back side, and fenced a little for privacy from cars, it would - with hot tub 😊 be phenomenal) Yes we would stay here again without question. Price is reasonable to lower for area. Yes we recommend. Cozy. Full self-serve breakfast offerings. You can also borrow bikes, and free pick-up and drop-off to/from airport.

Very good option close to the KEF airport (5 km). Clean rooms and bathrooms. Very good breakfast with many options. They also give towels.

Stayed in main building for one night. Very modern and clean. Good breakfast buffet which is self service. Ability to use kitchen. Handy free airport transfer from and to accommodation. Also added benefit of a sink in the room.

This is the perfect place to spend the first or last night in Iceland!
Close to the airport and they pick you up for free!
New renovated rooms, and free bike rental and coffee.
The staff there was really helpful, and gave good service!
