It may not be fair to judge, but it's just okay. My sauce tasted a little too pasty, and wasn't seasoned that much. Other ingredients we're fine, and crust was decent, some char from a hot oven, a little chewy. It's not bad! And better than a Domino's or Pizza Hut.

Nice place to eat, the service was a tad slow due to how busy it was the night we arrived but the food was really tasty and worth the wait.

Great pizza and great service! I went twice in two days! Menu has wide variety but they also happily accept custom orders. Fast take-away option as well.

Really good food even though it's a weird selection of pizzas! The happy hour is 2-5 pm and that made this one of the more reasonably priced meals we had in Iceland. Definitely a good spot for lunch in Reykjavik.

They do a great garlic bread but they need to go easy on the salt. Pizzas are really good. Like that you can see them cooked in the tiled pizza oven on the other side of the counter.

Reasonably priced tasty local pizza. They do a lot cheaper deals on takeaway with only a small amount of toppings so check these before you order one off the menu. Nice beer and small place creating a warm atmosphere. Nice place with friendly staff.

We were looking for somewhere to eat on our final night in Reykjavik when we found this pizza parlour so decided to try it. A nice and cosy restaurant with a good atmosphere inside. There were over 30 different pizzas on menu so the will be something at least everyone can find to like. The pizzas themselves were fantastic and probably one of the best I have ever eaten, I had a medium which was 12" and the large was just enormous! I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant if your visiting Reykjavik!

Ate here for lunch recently. The service was fast and the staff polite and efficient. The pizza we had was very good. The hot chocolate we had was well nice. The price was fair for the centre. We would eat here for lunch again. A fast & efficient pizza place!

We went on holiday to Italy last year and the pizza here is on a par with some of the best we had there! Totally unexpected for Iceland in my opinion. As an added bonus my boyfriend found "Viking Beer" which he says is better than any beer he's found drinking in the UK for 15 years. Reasonable prices here too & ordering is a breeze.

Tasty pizza, a good size for the price you pay. I had the primavera (apple, bacon, maple syrup) and it was delicious. Drinks were a bit on the pricey side though.

The girl named Ann, scammed me! I just gave her bunch of change as my total was 2.935 and I know there was more than .35 Krona in change, but in the end, she didn't let me count after I gave her all the cash and change! She quickly just put it in her tray even when I asked her if I can count!! She only gave me 105 in change, meaning as if I gave her 3.040 but I know, I gave her a lot more in loose change, I even saw 100 Krona coin, so how did she wrote only .40 in change? And, the pizza wasn't good at all, I had ordered the same pizza day before but small size but this time, it was made horribly, bland and different toppings!! If you are a tourist, I would familiarize yourself with the currency unless you are using credit card, even then I found taxi driver also tried to scam me and also 10-11 clerk charging me more than the item was worth! And the taxi driver had his taxi meter already set at 700 ISK when picking up!! This is first time to experience so much scam in just few days in Iceland from all the Western countries! Arghhh

I had 2 pizzas in this town. First one was in "No name pizza" place, and that one was outstanding. In this pizzeria it was just normal, good pizza. So it is safe to visit. But It is just normal

Delicious wood fired pizza (you can see the pizza oven in the kitchen). Medium pizza was plenty for 1 person and reasonably priced compared to internationally well known pizza chains. Free fizzy drink refills. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only in Reykjavik for 4 nights, but having tried a few other restaurants here, we've decided to return to Eldsmidjan for our final night evening meal.

This pizza spot is right on the main shopping street in downtown Reykjavik. Nice beer selection and laid back atmosphere. My only negative comment here is the sauce. Very basic with very little flavor. Crust was excellent.

Great pizza! Crispy. Lots of topping options. "Cheap" beer during happy hour. Lots of windows for people watching on Laugavegur.

    Summary based on one dinner:
-very good pizza, easily comparable to just about any expectation
-service upstairs friendly, but can be a bit slow when busy, which is understandable. We didn't have to wait for seating.
-medium sized is good for dinner, perhaps small. We mistakenly got a large & a medium after ordering two mediums and had enough for another dinner the next night. Take away box provided and we weren't charged extra for the large.
    -typical prices for this area
    -credit cards accepted
    -didn't ask about wifi
-parking wasn't an issue since we walked

Nice place to get a pizza. The building is clean and cozy, but even for Iceland the prices seem a bit high. I didn't experience any problems while I was here. Perfect location too, close to everything downtown.

Very nice pizza with a thin and crispy base. Wasnt so sure when I walked in of the service if i should sit or wait to be seated and took a while to get menus. Free refils on the soda machine which is always good espicalky in Reykjavik. Prices are reasonable for the location give Iceland is very expensive. Good location on the main strip easy to get to. Nice decor with good viee of the outside street. If you fancy a pizza i would definitely reccomend.

Pizza was tasty, fresh, and crispy yet fluffy. Service was awesome. Erik was so sweet and efficient. We had the #4, and the green peppercorn dusting added just the right amount of warmth. Yum!

I believe the chef here might be walking the fine line between crazy and genius. His creations range from pizza with fresh green apple to some more moderate creations such as a great seafood pizza. The entire thing comes at a decent price and is really tasty.

A great place to stop for pizza!

Eldsmiðjan is without a doubt my favourite Pizza restaurant, they offer a great selection of good pizza!

I recommend going up to she second floor for a more quiet dining experience.

My personal favourite is the A la chef! (the chef makes something for you), you never know what you'll get, I've never been disappointed and it's a great way to score a topping heavy pizza for a low price.
