  Dimmuborgir Guest house. We were not able to stay here because of bad weather. The management are very understanding because they returned 100% of our payment. Very thankful.

  Beautiful place, close to the lake. The apartment were new. We stayed just one night, but i raccomend to stop there for more nights and enjoy the whole area, it's beautiful! Fully positive feedback!

  Terrible service. At about 8pm 16th October, I was hoping to buy a cake for my friend's birthday and dropped by the office. It was unfortunate that the lady could not understand or speak english, but she was really nice and went to get this young girl over. Horror horror she was pretty rude, and reminded me to use some phone on the table and "No, we have no cakes" before stomping off.
  
  For a price of near 300USD i believe we could get better service and room space at Fosshotel Myvatn. Wont be coming back nor recommend this to anyone. Totally ruined my experience watching aurora.

  The cottage is OK and the lake view is nice. But the space is not enough , too expensive for it.

  very very nice cabin. the beds are amazing. the dogs are super friendly, the only problem is that we didn't the northern lights lol.

  Very good location at the lake and close to Dimmuborgir lava formations. Bit expensive, but one of the best breakfasts in Iceland with home smoked salmon and baked bread.
