The host had breakfast ready in the fridge and was really kind when we first arrived, would really recommend this place if passing through Egglestađir.

I loved this place. It's a house, you rent a room. Shared kitchen and huge bathroom. You can't move the beds together, if you care about that, but they are comfortable and the owner is wonderful. The kitchen has good supplies, just bring food. If you don't have any, there's a store down the street.

this guest house is very nice. the owner welcomed us very nicely. location is good in the city and kitchen facilities are better then average guest houses in Iceland. Coffee and tea are for free.

Real guesthouse with friendly and local owner. Close to many restaurants and the local swimming pool with thermal pools. Great stop on the way to the North of Island (and in summer is perfect for hiking)

The place is really cozy and charming. Extremely clean and well kept. There is a kitchen at the disposal of guests. It is really near the public pool where you can enjoy the hot basins in the winter.
