NEVER EVER STAY AT THIS DUMP. This place has terrible service, terrible food, and unsanitary rooms. I arrived to my room, and I was utterly disgusted. A 4 Star Hotel should not have black mold in its showers. I had to call my friend and go to her house to freaking shower because I am allergic to mold. When I returned later, I was walking to the bathroom and I saw a cockroach crawling all over the floor, had not even eaten food in my room. That is a health code violation and not okay to have FREAKING COCKROACHES in places of sleep. Especially for what you are paying for this place. The service is also terrible. I had to wait at the front desk for 10 minutes to purchase a water and complain about the cockroach. And when I told them there was a cockroach in my room, they did not care and said this was common. This place was hell in a hotel and I want them to get shut down. NEVER STAY IN THIS PLACE.

The receiptionist was not in a good mood and let this feel us. We asked for a second keycard for the room. No we only give one. Not very nice.

Stayed for a night before heading to the airport with my birthright group; cute hotel with reasonable service. The food is better than most hotels, and the rooms have balconies which is pretty awesome

    Convenient, but unfriendly.
Prior to arriving, I called to ask a question, and could sense the person’s irritation over the phone. Upon arriving, I did not feel welcome at all. Arrived at 6pm, was not even greeted with a smile, and was told I’d have to wait 1 to 2 hours for my room to be cleaned (I like to think it was the same person I spoke to on the phone).
The room was acceptable - comfortable and clean.
Breakfast is in fact last night’s leftovers, plus toast, jam and cereal. There are 3 espresso machines. None of the 3 work. Settle with instant coffee and hot water (the dispenser works marvelously). The diner staff was not appealing either. Hurry up, eat, and leave type attitude.
I requested a late check out (since my room wasn’t ready till at least 730pm) and was of course denied. The latest I was given was 1130am (normal checkout is 11am).
The hotel is conveniently located in Jaffa’s city center. Walkable to anything. Bike sharing station in front of the building. Bars, activities, restaurants, pharmacy and grocery shops are nearby.
In recap, if you only care about sleeping comfortably, getting fed, and having easy access to essentially everything while minding your own business (which is what really matters) then this place is for you.
If you want a “home away from home”, don’t stay here.

I spent 5 days at Ruth Daniel Residence. My room was not well cleaned and looked old and not taken care of. There was no desk for one to work with a laptop in the room. Breakfast is actually last night's leftovers, so I had to visit DoubleEspresso cafe nearby to get some decent food. On the bright side, the hotel is placed in the center of Jaffa, 5 mins away from the old city center and a few cool bars and walking distance from the beach.

This place is simple but good value for the money. It is really well located in Jaffa. Breakfast is really good. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Moti went out of his way to help us. Dor too gave us a great help. One of the best service I have ever had. I spend about 8 months in hotel every year, and never experienced a similar service from staff.

Very liked it! Room was awesome! Clean, comfy and organized. Food is pretty good on breakfast, placing is great! The only downside is that the room service didn't show up and the room was not cleaned.

Nothing too fancy, but the room was clean and comfortable and the food was alright. For the price, out was definitely worth it. And the location was perfect
