Noisy, uncomfortable bed, dishonest staff, and I would rather pay for breakfast than eat their free breakfast. Location isn't everything.
I stayed at this hotel last week, it is not my first time as I have been here 3 times before, but many years ago. I think I stayed there due the fact I was first there in 1973 and it was nostalgia and that it is right in the centre. The hotel boats that it has had 10 million dollars spent on it in the last few years, well it does not show. The lobby is clean but no way welcoming. The lifts have noisy old doors that bang closed, you could be in a warehouse not a 3 star hotel. The rooms are small badly decorated and the bed uncomfortable, with thin mattresses that creak as you move and you can hear the springs. Sleep quality is very poor. The window will open on tilt, but not the usual was, therefore it is open and as there is a bar below it can be very noisy till the early hours. The sleep quality is poor and the hotel needs to address replacing their beds with new ones, deep mattresses and good pillows. The bathrooms have been changed and are clean, although the mirror on the wall the mercury is going at the edges, so this is either sub quality or left over from the 1970's.. The breakfast is alright but nothing special, it was basic and had a small variety but was set out in an uninviting way. This hotel is in the most amazing position, and some rooms have excellent views over the city others the opposite. There were a number of other hotels that are of similar price, some much better, but slightly further out and others also close to the centre.
I stayed here for the David project because our flight got cancelled so we had to stay an extra day in Jerusalem. We had to leave prima Kings and go to this hotel since there was only last minute space available here. The lobby wasn't very pleasant and it seemed a little of what I'd call 'ratchet'. The rooms were pretty tiny and a little uncomfortable for 3 people. Out of all things though, the bathroom in the hotel room was actually pretty nice. The breakfast here was really underwhelming, so if breakfast is something important to you I would not recommend it. Locationwise, it was close to some pretty decent nightlife so that was fun about the place. And as far as I know, it's a little less than a mile from the old City. Overall, if you are a young person on a tight budget, I think this would be a fair place to stay. However, if you are able to pay a little more for a better place - I would.
It's a good place for anyone who wants to spend some time in Jerusalém city. Good location, good price. Near the mall
Clean hotel. Small. Good location. Heard a lot of noise on the 8th floor from outside on Thursday night - it’s party time at the Irish pub around the corner. Friendly service. No frills. Small rooms but for the price, it’s fair. Would definitely consider staying there again for $80-90 a night.
Rooms the size of closets. Stay away from here.
Way to small rooms, we had to sleep with 3 persons in a 1 person room.. the bed was terrible.. and the worst was no deserts
Great central location. Facilities good but no fridge in rooms.
Nice Receptionist, rooms Are okay, good Israeli breakfast, it isn't very loud from the street!
Horrible service horrible rooms and there's always a big group of kids outside that make it very awkward when leaving the hotel .
Great location, friendly staff
Good hotel in great lication at center of the city
Rooms are a little small, but they are clean. Good food and accommodating staff.
Beautiful place. Very clean rooms & very polite staff. I love the view but the re are only 2 elevators.
Great location in down town Jerusalem
The rooms are small nevertheless The hotel has been renovated and has a friendly staff.
Located perfectly near the major Streets of Ben Yehuda and Yaffa.
12 min. From the old city.
The crew is very pleasant and helpful.
10$ parking and complimentary breakfast (not amazing but free😉).
The rooms are very small. Like in a cruise line.
