I had an American friend’s beautiful apartment for a month when I visited last summer. What I saved on a hotel I probably spent at the gorgeous bar where I ate dinner many nights while I wrote my next book: I Meant To Divorce My Wife, Not My Daughter. The hotel is gorgeous. The history whispers from the walls and floors (famous signatures in the marble). And it’s no longer occupied by the British. 🙏

Very distinguished hotel, believes it knows what is good for you, and mostly gets it right, but unable or unwilling to customise. For example, very poor offering for vegan and gluten-free diets.

    Amazing hotel.
The best place to celebrate my wife's birthday.
The staff service was great and with a lot of attention to our needs.
We got an upgrade room, the room was great.
    The breakfast was delicious.
I hope that we can stay here again.
The view from our room was great.
    Thank You very much

Amazing hotel, great service, clean, safe during Covid and the best hotel to celebrate a special occasion. Loved the pool, the garden and the delicious breakfast. Thank you for the upgrade and for your outstanding attentions. The staff was very kind and friendly.

    We stayed one night .
The check in took at least 15 minuets,
It was strange but we didn't make a fuss about it.
We found out that although we ordered two rooms ,the rooms were located in different floors (the second room was for our grown up children)
But the real deal breaker was the breakfast:
It was dull and small ,it took the staff about an hour to fix us 4 times shakshuka that was not more than uncooked tomatoes with eggs.
The 2 french toasts we ordered were covered with flour instead of sugar powder.
Our daughter wich is vegan asked for a vegan dessert and was offerd a cheese cake.
We left the hotel very unsatisfied.
"Not reccomanded" is the best review we can give this hotel.

King David Hotel - the best hotel ever at Jerusalem area!
The hotel has it's own part in history of modern Israel. The style of architecture and design inside is a mix of European and Easter architecture's are a strict classic.
The best location in Jerusalem gives to every guest possibility to feel himself as a King because of the amazing view to the Old City and close distance to many of the main attractions and the best restaurants in the city.

Great hotel and certainly the best in town. Excellent rooms and service and wonderful location and views in a historic building. Food is very good and it's worth coming here just for work/pleasure breakfasts. The pool is large and nice and lots of space around.

Very impressive. Most international dignitaries stayed at this hotel while visiting Jerusalem in Israel. This hotel opened in 1931 is a landmark in Jerusalem outside of the walls of the Older City and Israeli modern history.

We were only there for tea, but it's a beautiful hotel. The tea and pastries were delightful. I will note, it wasn't a formal tea setting- just in the lobby but still, it was exactly what we needed after visiting Jeruselem.

Service at the King David is cyclical, from great to poor to great in 10 year cycles. Although the dining room is great, the people who handle the front desk smile and nod, but have trouble delivering on simple requests. The rooms also desperately need a lighting and television upgrade.

The decor, atmosphere and food is amazing! The dining room crew is the most professional I have ever seen! The reason I don't give 5 stars is the in the parking lot there use a security guard name Yoav walking around like a gangster speaking loudly in the phone while smoking

A fantastic hotel situated in a prime spot for some great shopping. Staff is professional and the grounds are wonderful. Prices at the bar were more than reasonable for the quality.

An old world classic oozing with history. All the world's greatest passed through these doors. The garden, the breakfast, the walk of fame, the rooms, this hotel has charm and remains a Jerusalem favorite
