With the exception of Alona, who was friendly and helpful, the staff are worthless. From calling about checking in, to parking, to amenities in the hotel, you’ll have better service sleeping under a bridge. I stay in about 50-80 different IHG hotels around the world each year, and the staff at Hotel Indigo Tel Aviv are the worst. I was informed that they only have four parking spaces out front but they were all full. Instead, there is a parking lot very close that we can use for 50 shekels for the night. But nobody would tell me where it was. They pointed at a side street, no name, no address, so I ended up in one that cost me 90 shekels for a couple hours. When they finally had a room ready for us, it was nice enough, but Michelle is rude and extremely unhelpful. We took a nap and decided to take advantage of the in-room coffee before dinner. Called the front desk to ask about some milk for our coffee. I was transferred to SIX different people to find out that they were going to charge me 17 shekels for a small cup of milk from room service.

When we returned from dinner, Alona was extremely helpful and friendly. We weren’t sure about parking still, so she came out front to see where we parked, showed us the right place and gave us a parking pass. She is a huge asset to this otherwise horrible hotel. A place can have the best rooms ever, but if the staff hates their job and their customers, it shows, and it ruins the whole experience. I can’t say enough good things about Alona, though. She’s fantastic

Always something smells strange here and sleeping at night is not that easy. Never had enought courage to face breakfast fruits guys dont stop on the orange juice. Be international at breakfast and get a bit away of 24hrs hummus. Last time I could enjoy the best service at the lobby and the pool at night deserves an late opened bar !!!

Stayed here in August of 2017. Nice updated hotel in a quiet and easily accessible part of Tel Aviv. The rooms are very modern and clean and for a few nights stay in the city this place was perfect. The walls are a bit thin and other guests were a bit loud in the hallway late in the evening during my stay so I would recommend bringing earplugs just in case seeing as they do not provide any. The service here was great and I would happily stay here again. Would give 5 stars but the fact that guests were allowed to be disruptive at very late hours in the night/morning was a bit problematic. Overall I was very happy with my stay here.

Close to tel aviv city center, complimentary shuttle service to several hot spots in the city, but just one-way. Still convenient. Staff absolutely nice and helpful. After a little incident the management granted me a generous upgrade which I highly appreciated. Rooftop bar hosts rather young people and offers a variety of food (breakfast is delicious) and drinks with a stunning view on the diamond district of tel aviv.
Rooms are very clean and modern, beds are comfy.
If you are happy with the location (3,9 km from the beach - complimentary shuttle service (one-way) available) I can highly recommend the hotel.

A pleasant hotel with helpful staff, I enjoyed my stay there. Language was a bit of a barrier in some instances. It would have been a 5 star rating if the recommended airport taxi was a good driver - he was terrible and overspending. Stay away from the reg number below

A good and rather small hotel, close to main roads.
I had a smaller room than usual, no bath. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. But room service - a coffee cup in the room was not clean.
Design of the rooms is more interesting than in other hotels. Not the standard abstract pictures, but some graphics about diamonds at the walls. No interesting view from my window, just some streets and office building.
Very few places of dedicated parking - should park on public parking. Close to train station.
Good and a little expensive restaurant in the building.
Nice pool on the roof with Tel-Aviv view.
Try Dominik Cafe near the hotel - I love their pastry.

From réception to check out our experience was top notch --5A. We were impressed with the coziness of the room. Though the honor bar was not fully stocked and there was no price list, all else exceeded our expectations. The bathroom is for sure a comfort station complete with wash cloths and a fully enclosed roomy shower allowing washing without hitting the wall -- a definite plus in a reasonably-priced hotel. The staff were friendly and accomodating in any language. A repeat stay is definitely in our future travel to Tel Aviv!

Will stay away!

Short version:
1.Hotel lies to us.
2. no shower light for 3 days.
3. rude
4. thin walls
5. you have to read this one - hotel owner blames us for stealing (the huge service carts which you can't put in any car)

If you don't have time, just skip to 4, it will sum it up for you..

1. Came in for business, and after signing for the room asked for an extra key for my wife (which came along with a 2 month old).

The morning after we get a call to the room from reception telling us we got a free upgrade.
Went down to talk and apparently they lied and wanted to move us and charge us extra for another person - apparently there was a miscommunication in the reservation, so instead of letting us know they lied.

2. First night we asked the reception to send someone to fix the light in the shower. Each day we asked and even the night reception were surprised that no one came, and that we might have the do not disturb sign on the door. We made sure to remove it the next day. Still no light.
On check out, the receptionist said that they came every day but the sign was on for 3 days

3. On check out, one of the hotel managers were there blaming us for breaking all
the rules of the hotel by staying with a baby, and that we hid the baby when we came in (sure, with a huge stroller that can barely get in the trunk).

4. the walls are so thin, we could hear the next door guest making his morning coffee.

5. After paying, I took the service cart and started to take luggage to the car.
While doing the last round and placing things in the car, the hotel manager comes and take the cart. I asked: "are you the owner" (naively thinking it might be a good idea to talk to him), he said yes, and while going he says: "you know that there is a detection device on the cart, if you take it a few km away, it will call the police".
I tell him I was just about to put it back when I'm done and he says: "yea, you can't even put it in your car's trunk."
--the guy was dead serious.

i just took my car and never looked back.

Clean and well designed hotel. Comfortable beds and good restraunts in the hotel.
Location is strategic business wise. Views are not great, so don't bother opening the curtains.

Rooms are small, but have all the necessities and aren't dull like so many hotels in the area. Hotel restaurant serves quality food in a nice, intimate setting. Overall, a pleasant stay. Note, that most of Tel Aviv's nightlife is a short cab ride away; not many places to walk to at night. Cabs could be hard to find, so ask reception to call you one.
