Best place to stay overnight in Dead Sea area, much nicer and more quiet than Ein Bokek hotels. Choice of rooms ranging from basic to nice, outstanding gardens (with real baobabs and incredible diversity), in the middle of beautiful desert (great views). Restaurant is good, not "fancy" but varied, tasty food

My favourite hotel in Israel. It is a bit mire expensive but worth every single Shekel. Located in the botanical garden of the kibutz Ein Gedi. Every room is a small bungalow. Huge buffet with tasty food.

on our visit to the hotel spa, my locker has been broken into and my cell phone has been stolen.
the security at this facility is very ineffective,
and the way the hotel management treated this issue was abysmal. the manager did not even do so little as apologies, and i have been forced to take matters to court.
there are many other resorts in the area who take guest security much more seriously, and would also treat their guests better than synergy spa.
i would advise anyone considering a visit, to take their business elsewhere.

Visited as a couple in December 2017 for the weekend. Great prices, there is lots of hiking routes close by. The Ein Gedi spa is a free-shuttle away (5 minutes by bus) with private beach (free access for hotel guests). Rooms are comfy and allow privacy. Breakfast is great with options for everyone (even vegans).

We took 5 rooms and enjoyed the location and scenery. The rooms standards are very different from each other and the mattresses can be improved. This place is not a boutique hotel but an upgraded hostel. The garden is amazing. Swimming pool is on the other side of the kibbutz in winter, so you need a car to get there. The place caters to Orthodox Jews so don't expect a good coffee on Saturday or good food. Since it's in the middle of nowhere you probably want to take half board.

Very nice hotel with some extras. Such as access to the dead Sea. Via their spa beach location. Also a welness a swimming pool are on the terrain itself. The rooms are small attached on floor level. The hotel is located on the kibbutz which is also a botanical garden.

Was there for a conference, nice and quiet place.
Guests get free entrance for salt pool and Turkish bath.
I don't know what are the accommodation prices.

The place is beautiful, amazing views from where we stayed, the variety of plants they can sustain in the desert is mind boggling. The people were really helpful in planning what we were going to be doing during our stay.
The hotel is in a great location with good bus service and shuttles to explore the local area as well as the rest of Israel.

The atmosphere is literally a tropical paradise amidst the desert, and the hotel is a far cry from a typical hotel sweet rooms spread across a vast scenic property, great food with plenty of variety, enormous well-maintained pool. The entire kibbutz is a botanical garden and every inch is just marvelous, not to mention set against the backdrop of desert mountains. It really deserves 10 stars on a 5- star rating chart. An absolute pleasure.

Wonderful setting! It's difficult to beat the scenery of this oasis on top of a hill overlooking the Dead sea. I even got to see an Ibex about 10 feet away after breakfast one morning. The spa was so rejuvenating, and Ein Gedi had the best food out of all the hotels that I stayed at in Israel. I would definitely come back. If I had to list a complaint, it would be that some of the rooms seem old and a little run down on the exterior.

Well, the views, the air and Dead Sea are wonderful, of course, but the hotel itself leaves very mixed feelings. Small rooms, menu is very short but the prices vice versa are high. Pretty hard to get here (as well as away) with public transportation. The bus may be much earlier/later, than it's scheduled to. Or even miss the stop. This is not the resort itself issue, but still, nobody cares about this aspect.

We stayed here for one night during our honeymoon- it was a perfect spot to take advantage of the Dead Sea spa as well as waking up early for a short drive to climb Masada for sunrise! Their dinner menu is very limited but their breakfast is AMAZIING. The best spread of food we've ever had for a hotel breakfast!! Really enjoyed their spa at the hotel and the pool was nice. Loved our stay here.

We came here on Hanukkah. An absolute hidden gem. The good old Eretz Israel at its best. Amazing views of the surrounding mountains, unique botanical garden that's situated throughout the kibbutz, serene atmosphere ideal for children, nice little cafe, local band was playing music in the evening, staff is nice, rooms are good and clean. Ask for free tickets to the Ein Gedi spa (we saved over 300 shekels for a family of 4) where you can submerge yourself in mineral mud, take a sulfur shower, and enjoy the beautiful Dead Sea. We live in central Israel and will definitely come again.
