Terrible stay and absolutely no customer service. Room smelled of urine, floors were sticky, stains on bed side tables. Given us an executive room with a view over a stripper club. Waited over 30 mins for someone to clean that never came to clean. Had to go to reception and receptionist cleaned our room themselves. Lobby chairs damp and smelly. Paint peeling off the wall. Overall no maintenance, not clean. We left after one night and hotel did nothing to compensate our terrible experience.

Good hotel on Frishman beach, friendly staff, very helpful. Enjoyed the stay. T coffee maker in all rooms. Good elaborate Israeli breakfast buffet spread.

We had a wonderful experience at Herods Hotel Tel Aviv! The location is ideal for the beach and renting bikes and people watching. The Mediterranean Sea view from floor to ceiling windows as you enter the lobby is spectacular and so was the view from our room.
The breakfast was unbelievable. Such a great selection and everything beautiful and fresh and again, the tables have that view!
The very best part of our stay, though, was the great service and hospitality from Sandra and Noa at the front desk. They upgraded us to a suite and offered us champagne while we waited a few minutes for the room to be ready, since we arrived before check-in. We enjoyed chatting with them at different times throughout our stay, and they even took it upon themselves to call the next hotel on our trip itinerary to request an upgrade for us there! They are truly treasures. Highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful view of the Mediterranean. Nice, spacious room. United put us there when our 11pm flight was cancelled, and while it was a bit far from the airport, it was a beautiful place. Some of the walls and rugs are getting close to needing replaced, though.

So Herods tel aviv is like a little hidden gem. Nice hotel, phenomenal location, clean, and yes the rooms a little smallso what, the view from the balcony is rejuvenating. However, what makes this hotel stand out more than others is the staff. In particular Sandra. It seems like Sandra derives great joy in know that her guests are taken care of. Her smile and professionalism guarantees you a great stay because it's important to her. Make sure you say hello for meshe exudes kindness. Thank you Sandra, thank you thank you.

Its surely about time for renovation! Rooms are preety old, pool has no stylish what so ever. Dining room is big but with no modern taste. The only thing that is breathless in this Hotel is the magnet view of TLV shoreline At that price for a single night you can find much better alternatives.

had a great time here. Breakfast buffet was amazing every day and the lounge was great as well. Danit was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, and simply done with nice views of beach. Walking distance to everything you need. When my fridge was making noise they replaced it immediately. If you are looking for over the top luxury, triple digit thread count sheets, and constant pampering, there may be other options but if you just want a great place to stay with a great location, great food, and solid service, I highly recommend this place. Will definitely come back and stay here again.

Herods was probably the cream of the crop a few decades ago in terms of resorts on the beach. Still a clean hotel, but definitely dated. You can see where they patched grout, etc. Very small and crowded lobby.

The location of the hotel is superb. Close to the Mediterranean Sea and offering a great and refreshing view of the sea. It's location is also perfect for those who enjoy shopping like me. The hotel staff are friendly offering as much assistance as one requires. It is definitely a hotel worth staying at.

Right by the beach, nearby restaurants, decent breakfast. Loved fresh squeezed OJ machine. I prefer beach over pools so didn't check out the pool but they have a small pool. Room is nice, shower is too low but nice and hot water. Services were overall good. Only reasons I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the checkout was a bit unpleasant. I checked out at 4 am. They said I had a balance due from some dinner I never had. They looked through the receipt and found out that it was for a different room. Two clerks were almost whispering. I just stood there for a bit. Later one of two waved at me, not even looking at me, and said "you're good to go"
It was just one guy but it did leave me in a bad note.

Herods overcharged our credit card and treated us poorly. Lobby and ceiling tiles missing, exposed wires. Rooms were old, in poor condition and unclean. Although we originally booked for 3 nights, we left immediately and went to the Carlton (which was great).

The lobby looks nice but the rooms are very old to the point of looking grubby. The staff are nice and friendly. The air con in our room did not work in the middle of summer and despite contacting reception 3 times no one came to look at it. With no luck. We also asked if the manager would call us 3 times but no one ever called us back. Would not stay here ever again .

Luxury? Not at all!
We arrived in the room which was dirty! The floor of the bath and bathtub was full of somebodys' hairsdisgusting
The swimming pool smells of pee and after lunch it was all around in food, which was cleaned just in the evening. Every day I took towels to go to the beach and during all these 4 days I didn't see not even one single towel cleaned. All of them were in spots from sauce..
I think this hotel needs serious renovation and change of personnel (more flexible and professional). The price is not worth service we obtained. 50 dollars would be fair price per night in this room (without breakfast), not 200 dollars
I would certainly NOT recommend this hotel for your vacation.

Hotel was fantastic. Great location right near the action. I felt a afe and was able to go walking at 1 am without any worries! Dining room has great view of ocean.

It's a good location on the beach front and close to all facilities. Only gave it OK as it is a bit dated. My room as an exec is actually what one would call a standard. Mini bar half full and had not been checked as found 2 half empty cans in it. Air con a bit temperamental but when working OK.

What a disappointment. I changed room a few times while there. At booking it sounded like a great modern hotel. Once in the room: the mattress feels old, the bathroom lack upgrades. Cockroaches came in (a lot of them). And the toilet flooded my bathroom while I was out.
One guy came in to check the mini bar from the previous guests. It should have been done before I check out. It was simply messy and not high end at all. Not pleasant.
