1. Maintenance: could be improved, significantly. Our entrance door had a previously-compromised latch plate (and the wooden door frame was busted). I had to insist on a temporary fix as it would have taken days to fix it properly
2. A/C: Israel is a hot country! During our stay in late February(!), our room faced south and became hot (not warm) very quickly. We tried the A/C - didn't work. Called front desk, was told A/C is turned off during "winter". Want to see a winter? Travel to the NE USoA or Canada - this was NOT a winter. Should have asked for another room that faces north! Sigh
3. Had to pay VAT (yes, that dreaded fine), and the front desk had no clue on how to calculate the 17% on our prepaid stay (using Canadian $, from Canada, via Air Canada, who uses Expedia). Took them over 20 minutes
4. Asked how much it will cost to take the shuttle to the airport, and the initial answer didn't make any sense (ILS 140 from the airport, ILS 200 to the airport). Turns out it was the reverse, so had to waste more time. Luckily, the ride was smooth and against the traffic
5. The above points were raised to the hotel manager, I waited some time (weeks) for him(?) to respond, never got any beside the initial apology, so am posting for all to be aware that there are shortcomings with this hotel

Good place for a conference. Haven't stayed in the hotel itself. Ate there a few times in the past and lunch was pretty good.

I only was at meeting hall facilities and they were very outdated and a poorly managed. Even a newest meeting space looks cheap. Can not be recommended for company's meetings.

Very nice and clean hotel. Breakfast and dinner were both very good and there was a lot of choice. Our bedroom was on the fourth floor. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, but we would definitely recommend it!

Not recommended. Prices are high and value- for-money poor. Our room was small and had neither a seating area nor a balcony as promised; we received no upgrade in spite of paying for my sons' rooms and Sabbath meals for eight, totaling over $4,000. Service was poor, unhelpful and often rude and abrupt. Management kept a low profile. The $32 dollar breakfast lacked good coffee, orange juice and smoked salmon. Even the pool was closed on Mondays (but nobody seemed to know).

Hall way carpet very dirty. Hotel staff makes lot of noice early in the morning. Excellent breakfast, polite staff.

Clean, great service, comfortable beds.. The AC is a bit off as it's either you are hot or cold and can't set it according to temp.

Booked a 2 bedroom suite, the 3 stars are for the 3 televisions that were relatively new. The rest of the room was outdated,doors were rickety and wouldn't close properly. Small balcony with city view, albeit a nice one. Large selection for breakfast, no fresh juices. Weird since the hotel is 20 kms from jaffa

Beautiful campus. The rooms are clean, and many of them have a cute little balcony. It is kind of off the beaten path, can't walk to restaurants and such. However, there are plenty of attractions a short cab ride away.

my parents stay here everytime they go to israel. they usually have great experiences but recently got a little bit screwed over with their reservation. not sure on the details but I really like when they stay here. AMAZING BREAKFAST and nice gym that I've never been to yet

This is not a luxury hotel, and it was not meant to be. This is a sports hotel! Great sports facilities, great gym, great pool. Food is good and plenty. Kosher.
It also includes event and meeting Halls. Located near a highway leading to the airport.

I usually don't write reviews, overall I had a great time visiting Israel. I came to Israel in March 2016 for 9 days for vacation should have taken a longer vacation. Now about the hotel had a nice experience even though I didn't spend much time in the hotel. The breakfast was awesome, plentiful. Room was big and the bed was comfortable. Staff was nice Would have never known I wasn't in the USA. Now if the hotel can just do something about that rooster that kept waking me up at 4am.
