Ingrid --> taking hostel-life to a new level

Without a doubt the best hostel experience of my life. Rumor is that even the Sahara dessert became wet when the glorious tales of this hostel reached its sandy dunes.

    (Ingrid needs more beer)

Fun and friendly staff. This hostel has a very genuine vibe. The staff and volunteers are more than willing to accommodate guests, help provide information, a laugh, or an insight into their culture. You feel like you're being welcomed into a family.

Very easy, good and prompt communication, overall easy atmosphere, large lounge balcony with good music, possibility to smoke and engage with other people, very clean room, comfortable bed, at 10 pm it was quiet and all people respected it.
Location of the hostel is pretty far from the center of Old Yafa and also from beaches, surroundings are a bit scary at night but fine in the day.

Florentine hostel is by far the best hostel that I have ever stayed in. The accommodations are fine, not great but not horrible. There is good air conditioning and the beds are pretty comfortable and clean. What really makes this hostel is the social atmosphere. The deck is an amazing place to hang out and meet fellow travelers. The staff at the hostel are also energetic and amazing. They are so much fun and make the experience at florentine so much better.

At first I was nervous, it was in a neighborhood with graffiti and lots of construction, but it was an amazing place to stay!!!
On the 3rd floor your greeted warmly by the volunteers and staff, can even show up a few hours early and just hang out on the couches, talk to people or even sleep on the roof.
If you want the Hilton, this is not the place. But they did our laundry over night, the guests were great and I cannot stress enough how helpful and friendly the staff is. If you want to hang out somewhere chill, go there. Next time I'm in Tel Aviv I'm going back.

I'm not sure that it's possible to stay here and never come back. No matter who you are or where you come from, what your story is--- you'll be welcomed with open arms at Florentine Hostel. Being a relatively smaller hostel (compared to, for example, Abraham), Florentine fosters an incredibly friendly and spontaneous vibe that makes everyone staying (and working) there feel like family.
What goes on behind the scenes is what really makes the experience so amazing for the guests. The staff and functionality of the hostel is exceptionally organized so we (guests) can enjoy ourselves and be as spontaneous as we like, knowing we are in good hands.
Florentine offers the vibe of ultimate freedom and spontaneity without compromising on cleanliness and organization. The place is always clean and fresh, thanks to the awesome staff and volunteers.
Whether you are extending a Birthright trip or backpacking around the Middle East or anything in between--- If you're considering staying here, please do yourself a favor and book. You'll make friends and memories that last a lifetime, and you'll want to come back. Some of my closest friendships started on this terrace-- no one deserves NOT to experience this place.
    10/10.

This is a good hostel choice if you need something cheap and not too inaccessible. It's a bit outside the main part of the city and might take a little longer to get to, but it is close to done restaurants. There are all sorts of accommodations here from individual rooms to sleeping in common areas. The individual rooms are what you would expect from a hostel and no frills, but at least some of the individual rooms have showers and provide towels. This place has AC, WiFi, and breakfast. The staff here is friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere at night is quiet and I especially like the book exchange that's present. All said, this is a good place to stay, especially if you need something affordable, but be forewarned that it is a bit out of the way.

    - Good location: next to Jaffa, near to the beach, 25 Minutes from the central station, 15 minutes to the white city
    - Nice staff, very family-like atmosphere
    - All in all, it's clean. Not hotel-like-clean, but like staying-at-a-friend-clean
    - Great to go to partys with the people there, especially because you often for example got huge discounts in a dance bar because the staff arranged it that way
    - If you want time for yourself, not the right hostel for you
    - Breakfast is okay, not more
    - Many Germans in the hostel
    - Kitchen is not so great
    I would come back! :)

The hostel is a great place for young travellers and tourists. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and are a great place to sleep. The big rooftop terrace is the common are of the hostel where people can chill, make new friends, or just enjoy their beers. In the evening the atmosphere is very lively, everyone is hanging out and just trying to have a good time.
