Overpriced & lacking good customer service.. check the Facebook reviews - a good part of them are negative. If you want to feel comfortable, welcomed and motivated to workout go elsewhere. There are much better, more affordable gyms on the northside - don't let the status fool you this place is a joke!

The Westwood I'm clontarf is great if you want to work out or go for a swim. You'll need a membership though. The changing rooms for the pool are not very good. They are always VERY hot and humid. Once I felt I was going to pass out. The gym is great too they have lots of facilities for the workout you are looking for. Great place.

Joined the gym 2 days ago. Upon enrollment, it wasn't explained to us that the Membership fee was non refundable if we decided to cancel it within a reasonable period (up to 1 week or so). Circumstances have change and I went there for a refund of the membership paid 2 days ago (never used the Gym nor paid the monthly fee). We were not advise nor shown any contract where it stated the above, so I will have to start a claim on the Small Claims Court against them. Poor customer care and all they care is money. Be aware as you might not get what you expect. Waste of time and money.

One of the best gym/clubs in Dublin. Though they maintain high numbers of members, the facilties never suffer. Leading the way with ground breaking classes, tech and world class facilities Westwood justifies it's above average membership price.

Great family gym. Lots of activities for the kids. Lots of amazing classes. Staff are very polite and professional. Amazing trainers. Highly recommend this gym.

I was a customer of this gym for about one year. The equipement and lessons are all right. I am very disappointed by the behaviours of the Management, members and employees when they heard I was gay. I had harassment, mockeries front of me and the Management was aware of that and I did nothing. Some employees of Wes wood did the same thing. They mocked and smiled when they saw me. Happy discrimination in a 'open minded' country where people voted for gay marriage. What a stupid members and employees.

I like doing Sh'Bam Every Sunday and doing my exercise with my personal trainer. All staff are great to me and my mum. The staff in O'Briens restaurant food nice and cold drink and tea and coffee are amazing 😉

Absolutely disgusting service. They do not tell you almost anything actually relevant when they show you around. They are using this insult bait, as a promotion (for every single person, although they tell you, that the promotion was for last month, but for you only, they will make an exception), as "normal" price for the administration fee is 500 euro. They use this bait that you can sign up for 75 euro in the first day of trial, then more and more each day. They do not care about the promises they have made to you and they will turn situation up side down and tell you that the person who gave you the tour is unavailable and therefore they cannot do what he promised you. Their facilities seems fancy, but it is very expensive for 80 euro per month and the club is full almost all the time. Disgusting service, treating people like nothing. Choose anything else but this. If i could have given them 0 stars, i would.

So today was the day, I went to check out Westwood gym Clontarf. Some staff member took the time to show me around. The gym facilities looked decent but then we went to his mini office to talk about membership. Since many of my colleagues are actually already a member I knew all the stories about the sign up fee. This (sales) guy tried to explain to me that I could be a member today for 125 euro + the remaining week of Feb 17 euro to become a member and it would increase by the day I would be there (while i haven't even worked out yet). He showed me the "4 day trial card" it says: 1st day becoming member 125eur plus monthly membership. 2nd day 200eur, 3rd day 300+ etc etc until you reach 5 days 499eur sign up fee. It's a joke!! It's scam first class. Don't fall for this nonsense.

The site is big but it should be renewed , especially the spa which is pretty old style. People don't respect basic sauna rules, everyone is entering with flip flops , jewelry , and some are even using the mobile . The gym floor needs some renovations too, but what it really lacks of is a presence of a trainer walking around and checking that people are doing exercise the right way. You can only book a trainer for a session which shows you very quickly a couple of exercise and then you are on your own.

Warning: membership increased from 75 to 79 without any sort of notification. That's nearly per year. Will be informing all family and friends about this who were considering joining. Joe Duffy will be getting a call too
