I went on a Guided mountain climb on Tully Mountain with Paul Phelan of Walk Connemara. The walk was fantastic, starting off on a beautiful coastal lane, with wild flowers growing in the hedges and sheep with their lambs in the fields. Then we began the climb to the rocky mountain-top, where the views were spectacular of the coast all the way to Mayo. Paul was a great guide, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He knew exactly which route to take, as there were no trails to follow, once we were on the mountain. It was tiring but a great day out.
