Clean bathrooms and showers, small kitchen and common fridge, nice camping spots and beautiful setting surrounded with trees, so if you run away from the storm, a good place to pitch your tent.

Stayed here for 2 nights in August. Got a pitch at 20 minutes notice. Owners were so helpful. Camp site is fabulous. All the facilities were spotless. Grass areas are really well maintained. Water is really hot. I would highly recommend this Camp site to anyone. Will definitely go again next year.

Great Place, would go back tomorrow !
We phoned on the way and when we arrived we got a lovely warm welcome and the nice lady at reception (can't remember your name, sorry !) had kept us a choice of two different places. It was lovely and quiet with a good mixture of tents, caravans and motorhomes. Good clean showers & WC block. Decent motorhome service point, which is rare in Irish campsites, and plenty of taps for fresh water around the site. Good location, just a short taxi ride from Clifden. (Wouldn't recommend walking as the roads are quite narrow)
We were pleasantly surprised with this camp site. The photos and website dont do it justice. We would go back in the morning.

Thanks for running a great campsite in Ireland. It is a rare thing ! Keep up the good work.

A delightful camp site, beautifully laid out, lots of neat levels and areas. Endless hot water, no messing around looking for tokens, very sweet lady on reception. Great locations, highly recommend. July 2017

Stayed here last night, no booking, just chanced my arm. Met by a very helpful and pleasant young man. Explained that I hadn't booked and it was no problem to book in. 22 Euro for my wife and I in our motorhome. Free toilets and showers and also free cassette and grey water emptying and fill up of fresh water. Will definitely be back

Great place to camp! We spent a few nights here and loved every second of it. The site has wonderful landscape that was just coming into bloom when we visited. With free hot showers in a clean facility and a space to wash dishes it is hard to beat for the price. They offer a space to chill out with games and a dining area with a kettle, stove top and toaster. The reception was very nice and a friendly staff was always around to help. The area is perfect, just in the middle of all the action. We rode our bikes down to Clifden (5 min ride) to watch some live Irish Music. The next day we visited Kylemore Abby and hiked the Diamond Loop trail in Connemara National Park, a short and beautiful 20 min drive from the campground. We can't wait to stay at Clifden Campsite and Caravan Park again!!!

Nice but very old camp ground.
We enjoyed sitting in the public house cooking our meals between all the other people. My girlfriend learned a lot about the diffrent kinds of stoves gathered there. Although the weather was very awfull that day, we made the best of it and didnt get wet
(Be carefull where you pitch your tent, the lower part can be very very windy)

Good camping in general (if you are well equiped for cooking), but the electricity in the kitchen (boiler, toaster) is not included (1€=9mn) and there is no microwave or anything to cook. It's also quite expensive for a small tent (22€/day). The showers are free and the water is hot.
