Regular rooms are pretty tiny. But the bathroom is good size, has a tub and they have quality King Koil mattresses. Great breakfast, too. And good location. Insanely good pub next door.

Hotel location was very good, staff was extremely friendly, and the bed was super comfy. However, we got a room on the fire station side and heard trucks + sirens + loudspeakers ALL NIGHT. It was extremely hot with no way to control the temperature so we had to keep the window open which just made it even louder. Overall I would not stay here again.

The staff are lovely and the downstairs is quite opulent. Breakfast and dining area are first rate. Good bar food if pricey. Very convenient for Trinity College. The downsides: very stuffy hallway upstairs and it’s right next door to the fire station. One night I didn’t sleep a wink with alarms and reversing fire trucks into the small hours and then again in the early morning. They try hard to impress despite their noisy neighbours, and breakfast is definitely a four star experience, but although I was comfortable overall I would probably stay elsewhere if visiting Dublin again.

Rooms are comfortable and staff are friendly. Very quirky reception area. Rooms have good facilities with an iron, ironing board and hairdryer included. Tv signal not amazing but who comes to Dublin to watch tv?!

The hotel is ideally located, but don't be fooled, there are lots of hotels in Dublin, choose another one. We was treated not good, they changed our room and made us feel unwelcome after that, the breakfast. Things missing and when asked about, they simply wouldn't put anymore out, once gone, that's it. Food took to long to come at evening meals an was cold. They wasn't expecting us when we arrived. That's why they said they gave us the wrong room. But was unfriendly after that. Room extremely noisy due to, fire station below. This is not good. Save your money.

Really well located close to Temple Bar for the city's cultural centre with quality restaurants and bars with live music. Hotel is a good 4 star and quite impressive and clean.

This is an excellent hotel.Despite making a late reservation during the height of the tourist season I was offered an extremely good price unlike many other hotels in Dublin. The hotel is in a convenient location and also offers underground parking.I was very impressed with my room which was beautifully designed, spacious and had air conditioning.I would highly recommend this hotel and most definitely return upon my next visit to Dublin.

The location was awesome, close to everything. However, Dublin is pretty small, so everything is close to everything. We booked as classic double room, but were upgraded to a suite. That was nice, but the suites are historically protected, so there is no air conditioning or lift to get you there. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice.

Great City location and refurbished rooms. Didn't eat in so can't comment although bar area and bar snacks looked good. Rooms at the back and in the Courtyard were quiet-don't know about the others on the front.

First off, the location is great. Trinity City Hotel is right by the University and within walking distance of pubs, restaurants, and historical sites. The rooms are clean and have been recently renovated (current renovations are underway in other rooms). Bathrooms are clean and appliances are updated. Overall cleanliness is very good. Wifi is free, which is awesome.

However, there is no parking. Valet parking is available at 20 Euros per night, which is rather expensive especially when you're traveling on a budget. Just like everything else in the city, the hotel restaurant shuts down early in the city around 11-11:30, which is really unfortunate. And, breakfast is not complimentary.

Overall, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The people were friendly and more than willing to help us decide what to see and do. Parking and the restaurant were our biggest complaints, otherwise nothing major.

My experience here on vacation was one of my most memorable. The artistic design in this place is quirky, beautiful, and awesome. The staff was always very kind and accommodating, and made the entire stay pleasurable. If I return to Dublin, I will stay here if I can for the great location next to Trinity College and near many major attractions and shops as well as the atmosphere of the hotel itself. Get one of their upscale rooms over the firehouse for the best experience.

We happened to pass along this hotel by chance when we went for a walk in the area and loved the gorgeous quirky interior design so stepped in for a few cocktails. It being Friday afternoon there was a two for the price of one special on those that made them some of the cheapest Singapore Slings we ever had. Staff was really nice and friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. Loved it so much that my fiancee has already booked the place to stay in when she returns back to Dublin with her niece next month. Location is great and it seems to have the most reasonable prices for similar quality hotels in this area.

Service at the hotel is great. Location is right near the city center, but far enough away you don't have much noise. Rooms are comfortable, well appointed and clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Super convenient to Trinity University. Some of the rooms are right next to a fire station with some noise from the trucks throughout the night. If you are a light sleeper, call the hotel and let them know to not put you on that side of the building.
