Great gift shop. Video about the history of Skellig Michael was a great bonus. Busy little place - which is a good sign.

Very informative, a bit overpriced for what you get. Very friendly service. You don't want to miss it if you are learning anything about Skellig. All the history and information in one place.

Gorgeous view of Portmagee from here :)

Seriously though it is a very informative spot about the Skellig Michael islands and their history and wildlife. The entrance fee is a little steep for what it is, but if directed to the upkeep of the islands you don't mind.

The film is absolutely worth it though.

You can also get a boat tour of the inlet or around skelligs which includes the entrance fee.

It was a good experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. Exhibition is as intetesting as you make it. You may dive deep down and read everything or just browse. Movie about Skillig Michael is worth watching if you cannot make it on the boat.

Lovely little museum all about the Skellig Islands, both historical and more recent events are outlined. Worth stopping off in even if you're not taking the tour out to the islands. Restaurant serves great food, fantastic view overlooking Portmagee from it. Nothing like food with a view.

If you cannot get to Skellig Michael because of weather, or price, or seasickness, this is the next best thing. Informative film of the history of Skellig with tour guide narrative. After the film you may want to purchase one of several DVD recordings of Skellig, Ring of Kerry or other regional sights for 4 euros. Great vacation gift, in my humble opinion.

Coffee shop with full window wall. Great to sit and sip while the rain slaps the window.

Jumping off point for boats to Skellig. Lovely little gift shop and customer toilets available. Manager John is always on hand to assist as needed.
