Murphy's was a great choice after driving Slea Head Drive. The fish and chips was awesome as were the mussels. If you have room for dessert, be sure to ask for the 'Sticky Toffee Pudding'.it is amazing!

Hate to break this chain of exemplary reviews but I'm going to be real. Group of 4, we ordered 2 roast beef specials, 1 roast lamb dinner & 1 fish & chips. I'd give the fish a 4/10 (ordered 6 times so far on this vacation, definitely the worst to date in Ireland) and the other 3 meals were returned uneaten (inedible, tough, gristly).
The server was pleasant enough but when picking up our plates actually asked how our meals were!
On a positive note . the pub atmosphere was fun & lively, the Guinness was wonderful as usual, and the tartar sauce wasn't half bad!
Overall, go here for the atmosphere and drinks but avoid eating here. There's so much better pub food a few doors down in either direction!

Good old-fashioned Irish pub. Didn't eat but most in the bar were enjoying their food. The wifi signal wasn't very good. Good selection of drinks. Good bar, recommended.

We tried 2 other pubs closer to our B&B, they were equally busy & paid no attention to serving us. After about 10 minutes in each we left to move on. 3rd time lucky we thought & we were certainly right. The pub was busy but every single member of staff here was fab. Very kind, polite & attentive. We spent all night sat at the bar, the live music was the best I've ever heard by the duo who were on that evening - Sunday 26th June! Chowder was great, Guinness better than bars in Dublin & very reasonable on costs too. Would love to go back!
