Kind host, helped us with information about the area. Let us do laundry even though it was fairly late. Rooms were nice and clean we all felt very safe. They provided eggs and toast for our breakfast because we were leaving early and wouldn't be able to eat the breakfast she was going to cook for us. Highly recommended!

We were spontaneously looking for a cheap hostel during our roadtrip. Compared to our previous hostel in Killarney, this place has great character and exceeded our expectations. Great room, bath room with hot shower, breakfast, and lovely advice by Mary for the rest of our road trip. Definitely recommend this place!

Nice hostel in cute town. Owners are a lovely, generous old couple but they are always around and are loud (talking (probably can barely hear themselves so talk loud) or radio (on all day. Talk radio mostly) until 11 at night (thin walls). Still, a nice hostel, no complaints.

Good facilities. Big and very well provided kitchen. Beds were very confortable, but the room was a little bit cold. We enjoyed chatting with the very charming receptionist. Her philosophy and optimism are wonderful and contagious.

Very nice host and staff and lovely atmosphere. The rooms are nice and very clean. Maybe a bit cold but they provide electric radiators which fix the problem entirely. Breakfast is included very varied: porridge, eggs, toast (jam, marmalade, butter), cereal and coffee and tea. Lovely host gave us very useful advice on the best route to take on our trip. This is a very good quality-price place to stay in.

Nice little hostel with old-fashioned home style hospitality. Mary put me into a 5 bed dorm all by myself so I had the run of the town! Free breakfast included eggs which was a nice suprise. The only issue I encountered was there are no lockers in the rooms (not an issue in my case) and the shower temperature was a bit cold. Still variable but a few degrees warmer would have helped!
