Booked on line that day. Excellent rate 35euro including breakfast. Had the Irish Stew for dinner. Huge serving and very tasty. A glass of wine was included as I was staying here. Staff very friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Great price, especially for what you get for night stay (payed 30 per person and free breakfast). Very accommodating, and the cottage room was fairly quiet despite a family before us.

I made a mistake online while booking, and even though I hadn't noticed until after the cancellation deadline they had no problem moving me around. In fact we payed less The rooms were done in a cottage style, and very comfortable. The free breakfast in the morning was great as well. I'll definitely end up staying here next time I'm hiking the beara way

Cleaning and servicing could be improved. Looks great on the outside and location is ideal but bathroom facilities faulty and cobwebs and spiders in rooms. Breakfast is fairly late but tasty.

On the good side the staff were friendly and helpful. Also the breakfast was ok. The food in the evening was basic but edible. The down side was the room. We were upstairs in one of the 'cottages'. It soon became clear that there was no sound proofing between floors and we could hear the people downstairs talking. We then spent the evening whispering and tiptoeing about so as not to disturb them. The bed has got to be the most uncomfortable that I have ever slept in. The springs were sticking in me all night and I ended up sleeping with the duvet underneath me to get a bit of padding. We had two big spider pets living in the cobwebs in the corner of the room so good job we don't mind creepy crawlies. I realise that it can be difficult to stop mould in shower cubicles but there was not only mould in the shower but also on the curtains and the walls in the bedroom too. No coffee making facilities, hair dryer, iron or remote control for the telly. This hotel was 70euro for the two of us booked on line but annoyingly advertised on boards at front of hotel at 30 euros each per night. All in all you probably get what you pay for. It's cheap but not so cheerful!

Not great value for money.

Food in fair, but rooms are basic,cold and cramped, not enough pillows or bed sounds like it was about to collapse.

Don't expect too much!

The beds in the B&B are good.
The rooms are small, but tidy. But they are badly soundproofed.
The bathroom has no heating (the shower itself has).
The heating seems to be turned on each day after 5pm.
The breakfast is OK but very pinguid (if you prefer the Full Irish Breakfast).

So, it is a B&B I would recommend, if you are in a large group, so you get one of the houses for the whole group. Don't expect a superior accommodation.
