We stayed here last week with our group. We were only supposed to stay one night but Hurricane Ophelia had other plans. We stayed two days and two nights. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff, especially Connor the bartender, was exceptionally nice. They have definitely earned their 5 star rating.

Stunning! That goes for the grounds, the decor, the food and twice for the staff. They were professional and friendly. We felt very welcome. If you have the chance to book hear grab it with both hands.

Absolutely fantastic, from the room with a view to the fantastic swimming pool and friendly staff. Food at the Brasserie was delicious and the view was absolutely stunning. I would fully recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Stayed here as part of our recent CIE tour of Scotland and Ireland. Top pick of all the places we stayed. Rooms are luxurious,food was fantastic, staff wonderful. Could not ask for a better place. Hated to leave. Finest place we have ever stayed while visiting Ireland. Next time.i am taking my golf clubs

We had an amazing stay at the Europe, we payed a little extra for a lakeside view which was definitely worth it. The meal that we had in the Brasserie was delicious, a little pricey but what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The breakfast was included in our rate and it was excellent, they had many gluten free options available as well which was ideal for me. The only downside of the trip was that there was a number of children (seemingly unsupervised) in the room next to us who were shouting and screaming well into the early hours of the morning which meant we didn't get the best night sleep. We did tell reception and they came up to ask them to be quiet but it unfortunately had no effect.
The highlight of the stay was definitely the Spa, around 11am it seems to empty out as people go to check out so it was absolutely idyllic.
Overall a great stay, would come again.response / report this review -

Absolutely brilliant hotel with fantastic views. Deserves its 5 star rating, everything was thoroughly thought through, resulting in an easy relaxing escape. Although I did lose 3 years of my life due to the fantastic dessert buffet.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous hotel! Book a lakeside room - it's worth the extra cost.
Food in the restaurant is better than most places in the town centre, and the brasserie is a good second option.
Make time to use the spa - the active level is free for hotel guests, and has a fabulous thermal suite and indoor/outdoor infinity pool.

Really loved this hotel. The view over the lake is truely breathtaking, no matter what the weather is like. Bedrooms large and have all needed. Excellent breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Will defenitely return

Fabulous place spa amazing. The pool big enough for a good swim.views from our room was breathtaking. Staff restaurant cleanliness 5 star..don't have the spaghetti bolognais in room service was disgusting that was only fault!

This was our second visit to the Europe and it was as good as the first. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the lake and mountains. I would definitely recommend getting a lake view as we did not have that the last time. The spa is still incredible and you could easily spend a weekend just there.
The only issue that still remains is the parking. It's a joke. People park in front of the entrance to the covered walk way or in the drop off point outside the hotel foyer. There are plenty of free spaces, yet the hotel does nothing about the haphazard and ignorant parking of some of the guests. This is minor, but is still an issue three years after our first visit.response / report this review -

Five Star. Loved it. Out of this world. Rooms are class. Grounds and views are Amazing!!! Staff are so so friendly and professional. Highly recommended. It is a must!! You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!!!
