Had the Butternut Squash Pasta. Very nice. Amazing atmosphere including a live piano performance. Excellent spot for a nice lunch.

we went to this place a couple of times, usually before going for dinner somewhere else.

The place is really stunning. It is really nice to sit by the bar and see the all the decoration.

They have a huge selection of drinks. We stuck mostly to beer, although the cocktails they were serving looked tasty. As for food, we had some oysters, which were delicious. The rests of the food looked good as well.

Service is very attentive. You could see the were a lot of regulars, who would sit at the bar and get greeted by the waiters. I can see why they would come back.

Nice place, used to be a bank so you still see remains of that time Very elegant huge hall, spacious, typical of what bank used to be in the 60's and more.
Food is good, from very casual to more sophisticated but overall it is a nice sure place to lunch or dine Not too pricey either and could be a place for a few drinks too.

Went here with a few friends on vacation and wanted to eat dinner. The hostess was very nice and said it would be a few minutes and to wait at the bar. When we went to the bar we asked for water and that we were asked to wait at the bar before our table was ready. The bartender then told us "not to waste his time" and ripped the coasters off the bar top. After reading some of he other reviews, I honestly don't know how he bartender here hasn't been fired.

My friends and I decided that the Bank looked like a nice place to eat on our vacation. We were told there was a wait and we could stand at the bar until our table was ready. We went to a tiny open corner and stood there. The bartender walked over and asked if we wanted a drink. We said we are just going to wait to be seated which prompted him to say "Well don't waste my time" and walked away. Needless to say we chose to dine elsewhere.

I was at the Bank on July 21 of 2017. I tried to reserve at lunch time for that evening and was informed that THE BANK doesn't take reservations which I thought strange as I had reserved two years previously on my last visit home. I was told that if I arrived at 7:30 there was a good chance of a table. I was with my wife and 4 guest from Spain all top professionals from the private sector. When we arrived at 7:30 we were told that that we had a table but they needed at 9:15 because they had a reservation. When I ask why I wasn't allowed to reserve I was told that I I heard wrong, that THE BANK reserves the right of admission anyway I felt so embarrassed after telling these guests about the professionalism of the staff at the Bank. A pity

Spectacular venue. Great service in beautiful surroundings. Attentive staff, good food in a historical building. Plenty of curios from 1916 also a facsimile copy of the Book of Kells. Highly recommend.

I came in here with my friends for a drink on a Friday evening, June 2017. We were all well dressed and well behaved - nothing out of the ordinary. The venue itself is beautiful and very well decorated. I was treated very badly by the barman however when I went to order the first round (it was also the only round we had at The Bank). He refused to serve me the whiskey I ordered, stating that it was too good for me before serving me a cheaper whiskey. While preparing our drinks, the barman audibly said to the party adjacent to us that "He was not sure about us from the look of us". I'm not one to be very easily offended. However, we were dressed and behaved appropriately and I do expect and better service from The Bank; I pay the premium on my drinks for the better experience not to be talked down to by a man whose living is pouring pints. I am sorry to have had this experience, I hope no one else has anything similar.

Good seating and usually not too busy. Good cocktail selection and gin selection. Been back a few time and noticed the play the same music track over and over again which is kinda annoying.

Great location and an impressive decor. Well worth stopping by after work for a few pints. Food is pretty decent too.

I visited this place a week ago with my friends. The interior is very impressive and not something you see everyday. The staff was very friendly and the food and drinks were served pretty quick.

I ordered the fish and chips. It was OK but nothing special. There is a large selection of beers and the atmosphere was relaxt.

I would recommend to visit this place but only for the bar. The food was OK and looked really fresh but the taste wasn't that special.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The staff were all brilliant and looked after us really well. We both had the pork belly main with pulled pork mash and veg- and with completely no exaggeration at all - it was the best meal we have ever had in a restaurant. We've eaten out in the top places in Las Vegas too and The Bank totally topped them all. Absolutely gorgeous; we would travel back to Dublin just to eat here again. Can't rate it enough! Thank you to all and huge compliments to the chef!

I love this place. We went there on our honeymoon simply based on walking past it and seeing the menu; what luck! From the drinks to the appetizers to the main course (lamb 3 ways, amazing) to the dessert, everything was flawless. Was only there 5 days and made a point to go back. Will eat there again when we next find ourselves in Dublin. Oh, the food was so good I nearly forgot to mention how beautiful the interior is. It is. If you don't try it you will regret it; once you do you'll never forget it.
