This is a welcome change to tired b&bs or pretentious hotels! The rooms are A1 quality fittings thoughtful inclusions ie an electric fan and coffee machine. Very nicely appointed breakfast space with everything for the fussy traveller. Courteous and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

Just a very pretty and beautiful place sand sea and casino lol two pubs that both do great food.a ice cream parlour that just ouzes fantastic flavours. walk walk walk to see the beautiful scenery you are surrounding by. great tent,caravans and mobile homes site not dear but not cheap either

Very nice hotel with nice large rooms.
A small safe, refrigerator and expresso machine are in the room.
Good sized bathroom with everything you need.
Breakfast is only continental like breakfast.
No Irish breakfast.
But the do have a lot of different things to eat and drink. Real good.response / report this review -

I booked my parents a one night stay here, and they were absolutely delighted with the room. They had a balcony room overlooking the golf course and strandhill. I paid €90 midweek, and this was fair rate. It was a quiet hotel but the rooms are spacious and beautiful and my parents said the staff were lovely. I would consider this better value for money than the hotels in Sligo town.

" The Venue" pub/restaurant next door is very good & sociable.

Stayed here for a business trip. Wonderful location, great rooms and staff and the view from my hotel balcony looking out over the golf course to the sea was amazing! I sat out there and watched the sun set.

Stayed there last night - before the warriors run and I was very impressed with the very high standard of finish throughout the hotel and the attention to detail. The staff were extremely helpful and we were so sorry that we couldn't have started the second night But there will be a next time

Stayed recently on a bit of a tour of the country. Beautiful modern hotel with excellent rooms with a brilliant pub next door for food, etc. Breakfast had a really nice selection and everything was a great standard. Staff also excellent and great for recommending local places and even a few sights for the next leg of our journey. Would definitely book again and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Strandhill which is a beautiful place in itself.

Awesome place to stay! Highly recommend. Great rooms. Loved ours with a view of the ocean. Great cold breakfast. Hope to go backback.
